If it’s a persons time to go, it’s a persons time to go. Whether it’s a war, a virus, a disease, a drug overdose, a car accident, a plane crash, a train accident, a gun shot, a knifing accident, a fall and breaking your neck, an infection, a brain aneurysm, or a fart that came out sideways. It doesn’t matter. When you time is up, punch out.

If the doctors had been right my sister would’ve passed in 1992, she passed in 2019. Nobody knows what’s going to happen and I refuse to live my life scared. If that’s what others choose, that’s up to them and I don’t judge.

I hope everyone comes out of this unscathed, odds are people will perish and they’ll be missed. Sadly it was just their time.

If I get into a car crash, and someone dies, even if it's not my fault, that's also going to be on my conscience. It doesn't stop me from getting behind the wheel to drive to work or wherever else. The only difference between that scenario and the disease is that the disease is a new thing and therefore tugs on people's strings a little stronger.

I relate to have you ever seen a car accident that involved a fatality? Afterwards you think damn had I not dropped my keys or forgot something in the house and ran back to get it, that would’ve been me that got t-boned and died. Things happen for a reason.

I'm not too worried about it, and neither is my family.

The Warren Buffet quote "be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful” doesn't just apply to investing. The fact that everyone is scared to fly and planes are averaging 5-10 people per flight most likely makes them a place less likely to contract or give out the virus than a grocery store, that is before considering the extra precautions the airlines and airports are taking (constant wiping down of airport fixtures, extra sanitizing before and after each flight, no serving snacks or beverages on the plane, etc.). It also saved me a bunch of money because flights cost next to nothing right now.

That's how I choose to look at it. If I get burned, then I own it and live with the consequences.

I believe we’ve always been a selfish, it’s just the way that society is right now is kind of reflecting that back at us.

It’s kind of like that scene in the Dark Knight when it’s just Christian Bale (Batman) and Heath Ledger (Joker) in the interrogation room and the Joker goes on the rant saying that he is just ahead of the curve and is just showing the true colours of society when their backs are against the wall.

Wearing a mask and glove isn’ t going to prevent you from getting it or spreading it. All wearing gloves is doing is spreading it to everything you touch. No one outside of health workers are changing gloves with any regularity like they should. And don’t get me started on the masks that are being thrown on the ground in store parking lots. It’s like Canadians shopping at the Galleria.

Just eye opening that's where we are with our country when people want citizens and families arrested for demonstrating their basic civil liberties. Where is there concrete data that even proves social distancing works, everything right now is assumptions. What needs to end is this mass hysteria. The "models" have gone from 2MM deaths, to 200,000, to 100,000 and now it looks like around 65,000, HUH. As a result of this the deaths associated with the combination of suicides, delays in early detection screenings and loss of healthcare because of unemployment will dwarf that of 65,000 I can guarantee that. But when we overcome this, nobody on the left side of the aisle will give an ounce of credit to the President. Next up will be an investigation into his "handling" of the virus as well as them hammering the "Trump Recession".

It's left up to local counties/cities. Most beaches are "closed", especially the main public beaches that are always crowded. I think the enforcement is stricter from Palm Beach southward. I imagine locally they're keeping all the entry gates to the more "out of the way" county beaches locked, too. I imagine if you're out there by yourself or just a couple of people you'll be ok. I know they are preventing any gathering of people, but I haven't really heard an official policy of any fines or penalties. I always go to more out of the way places, and I could drive there, surf, come home and never come near anybody the whole time. I haven't gone though, the thought of possibly getting hurt and needing to visit the ER keeps me from going.
