I urge you to read back a few pages. I’ve responded to so
Many posts I am sure I addressed this issue. I am not a fan of deficits and debts. But sadly this has been going on long before this administration took office. I wish we had a balanced budget.
Wedgie I only ask you watch your words. I truly believe you would not want your children verbally Treated the way I have been by yourself and some other posters today. - FL_LEAF
If you're looking for a nuanced debate with rational, reasonable discourse you may not be on the right site. We can't even treat each other with a modicum of respect when it comes to hockey here, let alone politics!
Having said that, if you do find a site where people from the left and right can go and have civil discussions that don't turn into a tire fire of logical fallacies, please PM the URL!
Sadly, I doubt such a unicorn exists.

Who was more fiscally responsible: Obama or Trump? - Atomic Wedgie
Define fiscally responsible? If you are referring to the Debt President Obama added more to the Debt then President Trump before this crisis. But again I am not a supporter to any debt. I truly think nations should have a balanced budget.
I’m going to sit down for dinner with my family gentleman(ladies also if there are any here). I will try to respond later tonight.

I wish you'd "Be Best" and acknowledge the travesty that is a tan suit. - TheMussel
And I strongly disagree.
Get yourself a Haspel cotton suit for the summer - it's the best thing you will ever do.
True Wedgie story:
About 100 years ago (when most of my gang still had their first career jobs), a friend had a summer wedding. It was 100 bajillion degrees, and of course it was an outdoor ceremony, with all the chairs set out in the blazing sun.
I showed up in my seersucker suit. For the record, I was also wearing a bowtie.
So we are all sitting around for what seems like seven hours before the ceremony starts, and of course the abuse starts. Keep in mind, almost my entire hockey team is sitting there, so the abuse is vicious. I say nothing - I just keep watching as these guys are wearing the one suit they own: a 3-season wool one (IIRC, quite a few were double-breasted - yeah, I'm franking old).
They start sweating. Then swooning. By the time the music starts, I'm the only guy who doesn't look like a drowned rat.
Living well is the best revenge. |

Where's the kool aid?
...maybe it's the hydroxychloraquine he's touting....even though it came out in the news that he owns stock in the big pharma company that produces it. It just never ceases.
Edit: nice job fu3king up the site Wedge. |

Actually, checking the liberal FAKE NEWS snot-rag the Washington Post:
Trump’s promotion of hydroxychloroquine is almost certainly about politics, not profits
He owns a tiny amount of mutual funds that have a tiny percentage of them made up of Sanofi.

A day like that, with my current suit selection, I'd imagine that I'd be rolling around the outdoor wedding looking like a flustered Jim Jordan |

It runs a little deeper than that: kids, partners, affiliates, shell corps, blah, blah...that's through some of my own follow up research, please don't ask me to go find all of those links.
Not that I don't believe every politician is in the insider trading game to some extent, Trump is just greedier and stupider about it....and fu3k his kids for making money off the US grief. I think that bugs more.

I tried warning you man. It’s honestly not worth the time. People who are fed information and don’t actually search for news are just what Stalin called “useful idiots”. They don’t care about anything outside of their reality and that’s why it is pivotal to find a group that they can fit in and share “their” reality with like-minded individuals.
Completely void of morales, character and principles and yet we are to treat them like they are all knowing Gods who come down from their throne(s) to show us why we are stupid or wrong.
Sickening that bullying is their only resort to conflicting views or opinions. - optimus-reim

Is this what they call virtue signalling? - TheMussel
I liked the post where he accused people of prejudice because they assumed he was a Republican for defending Trump.
Definition of prejudice: preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.
Seeing him desperately defend a Republican president on hockeybuzz and assuming he is a republican supporter from that evidence is not prejudice, lol. That using available facts to make an assumption.
Because assuming he supports the party that Trump is a member of due to defending him desperately on hockeybuzz is totally on par with say, labeling all Mexican immigrants as potential rapists...
One is an assumption of political leanings based on the available information, and the other is projecting a negative stereotype over a large population based on the horrible actions of some members of that group. Just because some black people can jump high or commit crimes doesn't mean all of them are criminals capable of scaling 6 foot walls in a single bound. -Those last two are examples of racism and prejudice. |

this might end up the most derailed thread of 2020..
you guys should just know, that you can always rely on these three great things in life:
1/ Bounty (the chocolate bar) (Lion second best - not sure whether you have those in Canada/US?)
2/ Vlad Putin
3/ Jaromir 'probably the best European born but not-Russian NHL player' Jagr |
