I know this crazy who-er who gets ketchup chips and dips them in ketchup. poop is messed up.

Weird thing is, I love ketchup. But not ketchup chips. I also love vinegar on fries, but not salt and vinegar chips. I don't like all dressed, even though I like wearing a dress.

Where's the kool aid?

...maybe it's the hydroxychloraquine he's touting....even though it came out in the news that he owns stock in the big pharma company that produces it. It just never ceases.

Edit: nice job fu3king up the site Wedge.

He also keeps touting it with no basis in fact, potentially endangering lupus patients who actually need it, and distracting people from actual real, sound advice. We have nosferatu Giuliani, con man Trump, and Dr. Oz peddling snake oil, talking over Dr. Fauci who is at the pinnacle of his field. These are the inane, damaged jagoffs people are supposed to listen to.

The same goes though for a lot of other governments (e.g. Dutch Government bought an unconfirmed # of doses of chloroquine (and not disclosure about at what cost obviously) which is still an unproven therapy (at least not clear what regimen should be etc.). The government bought it 'just in case' - which is obviously ridiculous. At the same time, there is no money available for clinical trials from Dutch gov't to test new preventive measures / treatment regiments).

Dr. Tedros is completely lost as well - WHO (already an organization which strategy and activities were basically guided by BMGF and other big funders not Member States) is going to suffer quite a bit from how the organization has dealt with this outbreak.

The issue at all of these organizations/governments is that there are good scientists available (including public health experts) but eventually political decisions are being made which are not in line with actual science. (obviously this outbreak is not just a public health issue, but as well ethical and political considerations are very important).

We already know that Trump will pin his own failure on the WHO unless he can find a way to blame Hunter Biden. It’s becoming harder to deflect from the reality that he was told in January to prepare and he failed to take any action to secure the supplies the country needed.

Scapegoat time and there doesn’t seem to be a caravan from Central America on the march.

That's not my point.
My point is that bóth US (President) and WHO (including the DG) have completely failed to properly function in this pandemic . (they are not mutually exclusive)

I understand. I couldn’t begin to speak to the WHO but appreciate that you might. I would need a lot of convincing though before I agreed that the impacts of their failures were the same.

And I strongly disagree.

Get yourself a Haspel cotton suit for the summer - it's the best thing you will ever do.

True Wedgie story:

About 100 years ago (when most of my gang still had their first career jobs), a friend had a summer wedding. It was 100 bajillion degrees, and of course it was an outdoor ceremony, with all the chairs set out in the blazing sun.

I showed up in my seersucker suit. For the record, I was also wearing a bowtie.

So we are all sitting around for what seems like seven hours before the ceremony starts, and of course the abuse starts. Keep in mind, almost my entire hockey team is sitting there, so the abuse is vicious. I say nothing - I just keep watching as these guys are wearing the one suit they own: a 3-season wool one (IIRC, quite a few were double-breasted - yeah, I'm franking old).

They start sweating. Then swooning. By the time the music starts, I'm the only guy who doesn't look like a drowned rat.

Living well is the best revenge.

- Atomic Wedgie

Who the fack wears a suit in the summer?
Any friend of mine who books a wedding in late july or August, or on a long weekend....im no longer interested in being friends with.
Or i simply dont go to their wedding

It's hard to fault people for not immediately recognizing the gravity of this situation - hell, Kathleen Wynne gave Doug Ford a pass when Ford didn't initially lock it down, saying she understood he wanted to keep people optimistic and keep the money flowing.

The people who deserve punches to the balls our ire are the people who continue to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear once the entire franking world knew that poop was going down.

Not that I was ever going to Georgia again after their horrific abortion laws were passed, but FFS, the governor is a despicable human being.

I would love to see Norm MacDonald on HNIC all Sat evenings..
These interviews are just not interesting.

I don't think Ron McClean is a good match for him though ; would need a new presenter (not sure which young Canadian would be a good fit on that duo).

My kitchen smells like a Roman trattoria, I just pulled a pan of tomatoes and garlic drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper out of the onion.

Step one in making roasted tomato basil soup.

Yes, I amaze even myself.

voter Fraud or trying to stop a bunch of folks from being able to vote?

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Republicans should fight very hard when it comes to state wide mail-in voting. Democrats are clamoring for it. Tremendous potential for voter fraud, and for whatever reason, doesn’t work out well for Republicans.

I have said several times that this is true.
All 'developed countries' governments were too late in their response, just because they would never expect such an outbreak to be possible in their country (and healthcare systems not being able to deal with this).
For governments I'm not refering to these initial outbreak weeks though, but on their lack of response when their countries were already fully impacted (e.g. Dutch bought the Chloroquine 25th of March).

WHO has just not been on top of things with this, same for Ebola and quite a few other disease areas. Cannot have an unqualified DG leading such an important organization.

HNIC is so determined to present hockey as some part of their vision of a whole, Syd Crosbyish, small town, Tim Hortons Canada. I find it unwatchable.
