What's not true? That Trump would murder and imprison political and media enemies if he thought he could get away with it? I very much disagree.
I remember the "colourful" comment as well. And I agree with Putin there. You may remember so please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he said it with a chuckle or at least a facial expression which further implied the clownish connotation of the word he used. - BlueBallz
Exactly.
In particular as well because the interviewer (almost bilingual ) thought he had something to pin Putin down on - "calling Trump a brilliant man".
It was a very delicate insult of Trump & at the same time putting the journalist perfectly in his place.
(I don't know if Trump would physically harm opponents, I doubt it but wouldn't discount the possibility). |

I agree. Why should they be enemies over something as silly as the Sudentland, er Crimea? - Canada Cup
If you'd be living close to Ukraine, I think you'd have a different opinion on this.
(Ukraine government is rotten to the bone - with help of US of A. We don't want a 2nd Afghanistan on the borders of EU.. (actually the same for Albania)). |

Putin and Trump seem to get along well.
- BlueBallz
Now exáctly that thing is a misunderstanding.
Putin obviously 1. didn't want Clinton in there, because she was planning to start a war with Russia, or at least stir things up in Europe and other parts of the world 2. wanted Trump as a President, since a weak and uncapable President of US only means more options for Russia on a global scale.
It's like Dubas saying that Chris Tierney is a great 2nd line Center for the Ottawa Senators. He wouldn't mean Tierney is a great 2nd line C. He just means it's great that Ottawa (a Toronto 'rival') has such a mediocre C... - MaximusAurelius

As opposed to your idiotic views on politics.
Derp is more intelligent than anything that has come out of your mouth today.
PLUS... I thought political discussions were against the HB COC, and just downright fvcking boring.

Obviously Putin can see Trump is an insane idiot and would prefer him to be President. It'd be like if JFJ JR became GM of Boston, we'd be all for it.
The Trumps are probably up to their tits in Russian loans too.

But coming under greater Russian control is the way towards enlightenment? If so, why does all of the EU support Ukraine’s military efforts to hold off Russian incursion? |

Guys Max knows everything because he lives in Europe and closer to the countries being discussed.
If you live in Canada or the US you don’t know what you are talking about.
But if you lived in Europe you would of already known this. |

If you actually read past the headlines, Bulgaria/Romania/Baltic States and to a lesser extent Finland, Sweden are in the 'contra-Russia side'.
Italy, France, Germany though are more in support of Russia - or at least not so much 'against Russia'.
My concern is mainly that we don't have Yugoslavia 2.0 happening - and based on Hillary's comments on Russia and Putin, that would be very possible to have happened if she'd become (or will become) President. |

Just trying to help. There may be situations where getting it right actually matters.
Edit:
NP. It was easier and cheekier than just saying that Max is crazy whether he lives in Europe or not. |

what is this military funding by EU you are speaking of?

All military-ish actions through NATO (US, UK mainly) and EU funding for reconstructing and other non-military purposes. |

I guess you cannot use google yourself, this is one of the first links that came up on a quick search.
It's a UK newspaper - with opinions (concerns) from US Foreign Relations experts on Hillary's positioning vs Russia.
