I’m not going by the eye test, be read the numbers and it’s not good. - LeftCoaster
I dont really think either test favors our 4th line. $ aspect just makes it worse |

Just had a brief talk with Nikolay Goldobin about signing in Russia for the next 2 years.
“The #Canucks did not want to sign me, I was disappointed how it turned out in VAN but I am happy to sign in KHL and will try NHL again in 2 years.”

It is only Dhaliwal so take it with a grain of salt |

I don’t think it had anything to do with being Russian. It was about having a “skilled” player in the minors while the likes of Beagle, Sutter, Schaller, Motte, Granlund, Gaunce, Eriksson, etc were playing. - 1970vintage
If his skill was as good as Beagle, Sutter, Schaller, Motte, Gradlund, Gaunce, Erikksson he would have been playing, plus those guys played minor roles and then the complaint would be "he doesn't get enough ice time to show his skiilset" |

I'd argue he probably did have more raw skill than any of the players mentioned above. He didnt have as much defensive awareness, backbone or hustle as any of the above players either though. - Codes1087

Pfffft.....who needs skill in the bottom six when you can have multiple plugs, I think we had one of the worst fourth lines in the NHL. - LeftCoaster
And I think you are full of poope, Beagle, , Sutter , Motte , great 4th line |

So the Hansen trade turned out to be for Goldobin, Gunnarsson & Palmu....which pretty much equates to nothing. At least he tried |

I was just reading a tweet from SJ Sharks . Goldobin Gunnarsson and Palmus for an empty locker.
Surprised washed up players don't have higher value.
I also do remember you were quite happy the day it happened |

Remember, I just said what Dr.T would have. I don’t care two poops that Goldy is gone, I do care that we have those other scrubs still here however. |

Sure it was time for Hansen to go and they got value for him, didn’t work out but that’s what you’re supposed to do as a GM.

Best GM in Canucks history is Jake Milford - Makita
I agree, Benning is bottom three with Dave Nonis and Jack Gordon.
