Breaking news. Chayka just traded draft picks for a 1C, 1W, and 1D. It was quite an impressive day. They all make $9-10M. To make room he somehow traded away Demers and Goligoski, but not Hjalmarsson and Stepan since they are exceptions. Schmaltz moves down to the bottom 6. Another exception. The awful Crouse has been replaced by Nik Petan. Tocchet has been fired and replaced by an unknown coach with new ideas.

The parade is being planned.

Not true! When I was a kid my dad got tickets all the time. I was at Owen Nolan's first game with the Leafs. The best game I ever went to was when the Leafs played Montreal in a shoot-out and Kessel scored the winner. I have been to probably 15 Leafs gams in total.

I also once attended an Ottawa Senator's vs Florida Panthers game, and when Alfredson tossed his stick into the crowd after the game, I saw an old man wrestle it away from a kid and I started a chorus of boos that eventually shamed him into giving it back.
