Devils have a major goaltending issue since 2013, and the one time they thought they didn’t it bit them in the ass and cost people jobs.

You need goalie depth and a 1A. You need UFA/Expansion/Injury/Meltdown contingencies.

Devils have none of that — today and down the road.

It doesn't technically matter what Planarian thinks lol
There is really only two ways you can look at who makes the PO's.

Top 16 based off win % or whoever currently holds a PO spot right now under the current format. To have playoff credibility there would still need to be 4-7 game series unless they want asterix's all over there record books. Hopefully Bettman gets things rolling in July like he said.

I think Bettmans biggest concern is revenue. Do they lose 1 bil in tv rights by walking away?

I think it’s totally ridiculous to even entertain getting the rest of the season in, to 82 games, not to mention trying to get the playoffs in, however, if they are going to do it there’s no fair and equitable way to do it, life isn’t fair sometimes....suck it up princess (Panarin).

Cut the season off at 68 games and go right into the playoffs with the first two rounds being best of five, then best of seven in rounds three and four, to accelerate the process.

Why don't we help them out?
