The funny thing about hockey pools is they don’t actually track how well he defends. Risto is below the nhl top4 d average for expected points differential per60 and has poor possession. That’s why he doesn’t pk or get defensive zone starts anymore, cause dahlin is already much better than him

You can say all you want but it is all for nothing. I watched him when he played on NBC or SN last year and tracked him in the play seeing he was one of my pool players and aside from Hughes he is better than anyone else on Canucks. He is a very active player.

You guys can make up all the stories you want but after watching him quite a bit last year it is falling to deaf ears. You guys really have no idea of what he is like.

So as I said I would gladly take him on the team.

Crazy. In the last 24 hours the US had 4,600 deaths. 33,000 in total as of today. When you think there has been 144,000 deaths worldwide, soon the US will make up the majority of those.

Over 150,000 now. This is truly getting bad. I also read that there are some deaths that weren't directly caused by Covid, but the people were in the Hospital for Covid and died of something else(usually heart failure) and aren't being counted as Covid Deaths.

Ive watched him plenty, i like buffalo. Numbers dont lie, he likes to turnover the puck.

It’s a hockey blog, i like to talk about hockey. Lots of people on here talk about hockey quite interestingly, so i come back. It’s a bit ironic you make fun of fancy stats, and then incorrectly cite “90%” in a way that isnt actually a reference to anything as if it makes your point valid

I have followed Buffalo for a few seasons now, and I thought Risto was going to turn out and liked him the first couple seasons he was in the league.
Unfortunately for Buffalo, his defensive part of the game hasn't improve, nor have his turnovers.
