Ya, 11,000 people didn't die yesterday.This thing isn't killing 6% of the infected. |

I’m thinking it’s pretty easy to practice social distancing with the rules that private courses have put in place. 12 minute tee time intervals and maximum of three players who must stay two meters apart at all times. If I can walk around Thetis Lake with a good number of people there on the trails this should actually be easier.
Anyone found not respecting the social distancing rules loses their privilege to golf and must visit the board. Which is fair. You must sign a waiver to accept the rules. |

We hiked up Bear Hill and around the farm land on Oldfield yesterday. Only saw five other people, and we gave each other plenty of room to pass. People here are doing a good job I think, unlike Ontario and Quebec where the tinfoil hat crowd continues to gather and infect each other. |

Krug will be expensive, no doubt. Debrusk- bridge, Chara (if he comes back) will be cheaper than Stecher, Grizzy - not much either. Backup goalie... - 1970vintage
Still going to eat up all their cap space. And they will be an old team |

The difference is Boston needs to sign role players and the Canucks need to sign Starting goalies, top pairing D and first line wingers, plus give raises to their roll players. Very different situations, with roughly the same $ - 1970vintage
That is bull . Without Chara Bos are not the big bad Bruins . Krug is one of their best DMen . Debrusk actually gives them depth so that they have more than one line.
They had three bad contracts last year and had to use a first round pick to make cap space. You can paint it any way you want but it is still what it is. And they are getting old . |

I know. Covid 19 just surpassed 1 million cases worldwide. Only 1.399,000,000 to go until it matches the 1.4 billion cases of H1N1 in 2009. 51,560 deaths and only 525,000 to go to match H1N1.
Sure is a good thing we wrecked the economy over this so you socialists can have your way. |

Yup, you’re right, the. Canucks are in a way better spot. Better players, better prospects, better cap management, better coaches better executives, better ownership better fans. More likely to win a cup in both the near and distant future. |

43 year old Chara? You think Debrusk is more valuable than say Virtanen? I agree, Krug will be expensive, but that’s it. The rest will be very manageable and they don’t have any bad money (except the 1.5 for Backes For one more year) to worry about.

I didn't say one of those things although I do feel we have better prospects.
If that was Benning moving a first round pick to create cap space, you and about 7 others would be screaming at the top of the mountain .
I am not a Benning fan but there are a bunch of you that hate him no matter what he does. Like I said yesterday I see your reasons . I don't have many issues with him.
The thing is call a spade a spade. Boston had some bad contracts and they used a first to open space so they can sign their players. They have a short window of opportunity and I mean short. I don't think they will win the cup but I like their efforts. |

Imagine how many less deaths there would have been if they took the same measures then, as they do now. If we kept going BAU we would be seeing similar numbers. based on current rates, likely worse.
Edit: they also speculate deaths were between 151k-5575k. We are already almost at that minimal number. |

I don't care if he is 60 , the guy is a freak. Without Chara who is afraid of the Bruins.
I think Jake and Debrusk are comparable this year . DeBrusk has been consistent right out of the gate , Jake not so much.
When they finish their signings they will have one or two mil in space but they still needed to give up a first to get there. |

That’s because the Canucks are still rebuilding while the Bruins are poised yet again for a deep playoff run. Their situations couldn’t be more different. It’s Neems fault for trying to compare the two suggesting they are in basically the same cap situation. They aren’t, not even remotely. |

I’ve noted Krug multiple times, you are just too stupid to a knowledge it. Debrusk is 7th in team scoring, had 19 goals, and averaged about 16min TOI, Virtanen was 7th (8 if you include Toffoli) In team scoring with 18 goals in 13.5 min TOI. They are both going to get paid $3ish million. Vantel isn’t willing to give Jake more than a million but will give Debrusk $4+... |

I wish you Benning haters (Joking) get the story straight . I heard we aren't rebuilding.
I agree they aren't rebuilding. They are trying to complete.
