I'm looking at some of the numbers in Brazil. Yikes!
Well over half the people they test are positive, and they've hardly tested anybody. Their president seems to think it's media driven hysteria, yet they are almost certainly underreporting deaths. He wants everyone back to work.

Look at Sweden, they didn't shut down their economy. They seem to be doing fine. - kaptaan
They're not actually.
Compare them to countries in their area, the death rate is higher. That's despite the fact that nearly 40% of households were single-dwelling and a very large percentage of the country already worked from home.
We're not talking about ghettos without adequate water and soap.
Denmark has tested more people, despite having little more than half the population. They also have less than 25% of the deaths, and their growth in the amount of cases is nearly 25%. Norway is doing even better than Denmark. Finland is also doing better than Sweden.
Don't forget, if you don't take measures to flatten the growth of the virus it continues to grow exponentially. That means when you look in a couple of weeks numbers could be far less flattering.
I'm sure you won't, but maybe you should stop believing that drivel you read.

Sweden has slightly more cases per capita then Canada, slightly less than half as many cases but as many (more actually) deaths. I mean, they’re not doing as well as Trumpland, but they’re doing their part...

That's stage 1, then you want to start eradicating in certain areas. PEI for example has 2 ferries, a bridge and an airport. I'd say those are about your only 4 points of entry. NFLD isn't much different. Nova Scotia and NB are different, especially which shares points of entry with Maine, Quebec, NS, PEI, NFLD.
If you can eradicate in certain areas, you can fully re-open them as long as it's not getting in from outside.

I never watch replayed games that I know the results but for some unknown reason I did tonight - VANTEL
I can't stand it for the most part, except for maybe some really old classics. It kind of defeats "live sports" doesn't it? I'll watch some tape if I'm scouting a player or want to learn something, but watching a game i've already seen and know the outcome of is zzzzzzzzz.

I know you're not a football guy, but here's a classic from 1985. The Bears went on to win the SB, but narrowly avoided playing the Dolphins in that game.

46-10 - Nighthawk
Yeah, the SB sucked.
The Pats upset the Dolphins in the AFC title game when the Dolphins fumbled 4 times on a rainy day. First time in 18 years the Pats won in the Orange Bowl, despite being divisional rivals.
The fun thing about the Dolphins vs Bears is that the Bears played without their starting QB, who was no doubt better than any of their backups. However, they were a running team. Most teams predominantly ran the ball, but Miami was different. Marino put up numbers the year before that were unparalleled until Mahomes burst onto the scene.
The 46 D ( Buddy Ryan, father of Rex) loaded the box and put pressure on the QB. Marino was consistently able to beat it with his quick release, despite playing behind an injured O-line. He beats the single man coverage enough to put up 38 points.
12-0 team against the only franchise to have ever gone undefeated, in front of a coke crazed fanbase on Monday night football.
