It's mind-boggling to me. We'll already chalk this one up to overblown instead of realizing the anguish we saved by taking drastic measures.

As for the environment, maybe the average person will clue in during this pandemic. Realize some of it is just a better way of life.

I'm doing fine, got ill on St. Patty's day, spent 14 days in isolation but I'm certainly feeling great and healthy now.
We are doing the same as you and Marwood, gardening galore. We started 72 seedlings a month ago, and have been terracing our back area to grow veggies, our property slopes.
Miss going to the office, at least I can work from home, I feel sorry for anyone that has been laid off or directly impacted by the pandemic.

Glad to hear you're doing well. Working from home is ideal. I was laid off recently, doesn't really bother me at this time. There will be a tax penalty to pay at the end of it but I'll try to plan accordingly. Growing much of our own food should help offset the cost.

We have always grown basic veggies (carrots, peas, beans, tomatoes etc.) but now we are doing it on a grander scale, we hope to be self sufficient for all our vegetable needs.
Sorry to hear you are laid off, the situation out here may lessen some restrictions by mid May and allow us to see our extended families, I miss my daughter and son and their families. But we seem a long way away from resuming normal activities, which affect several industries for many more months to come.
