In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States! - LeftCoaster
I'm in the midst of renewing my visa – have no idea how much this is going to impact me.
Edler turns 34 today and by the end of his contract he is 35. Canucks don't have a prospect that is that solid. I really would not like to see them pay another 6 mil two years.

Okanagan is gorgeous. Nice combo of Vancouver and the kootenays - Jkuzzi
Growing up in Van I wouldn't move back there but I spent most of my summers in the Okanagan until I was 30 or so, my Grandparents had property on the lake in Vernon. Absolutely loved it there and it's first on the retirement list basically.
Lived on the Island for two years in the Comox valley loved it there too. My GF wants to contemplate a move back to Surrey but that aint happening either lol

Something to keep an eye on. - VANTEL
The sooner Edler/Tanev are gone the better off we will be moving forward.

My Dad sold hos place in Van last year. I loved visiting he was down beside the arena. I dont think I would live in Van if I had to commute at all. Mom was in Kelowna when I was growing it was really nice to visit really liked to Okanagan. I live in a super small community now called Christina lake and wouldnt change it for the world.

With the housing market pretty low in AB and the small salary of a Zamboni driver you might want to stay right where you're at as housing is too expensive out here for you....you're welcome

Beautiful area!!
Small town living is fantastic. Has it drawbacks but the benefits far out weigh that. Having been born & raised in Vancouver, the island is calmer, friendlier and cleaner much like growing up in Vancouver in the '70's going into the '80's. I lived on Bowen Island for a few years and that sealed the small community life for me.
