The time to blame MG is over now. It’s only valid when those with convenient short memory loss ignore his effect that created the much slower retool/rebuild. This roster is now JB’s & he will sink or swim in the next few years.

I agree. As long as JB sticks to drafting he will be fine. Trades are 50/50. It’s his UFA signings that are so bad.

Pretty much bang on. I don’t see UFA’s as being as much an issue going forward. Roster is deeper & stable & only a key piece needed if serious on cup runs say AP. Otherwise stick to moving out contracts & let prospects earn the spots.

Considering our prospect pool...

Pretty well stocked up in all positions with more RHD needed. After maybe this next draft or 2 it’s moving more picks/prospects out with other contracts fir cap control & fresh blood to impact from within. Podk Hoagie Lind OJ Woo Rafferty DP etc all need the opportunity sooner or later. ELC’s are needed & will happen.

Good point. You’re right, spots are filling up and what remains can be filled by prospects. That’s encouraging!

Tavares
Hedmen

As the new order of guys drafted. Anyone else have Hedman and/or ORielly over Tavares?

I have O'Reilly over Hedman, but Tavares is head and shoulders above both

I have Hedman ahead of O'Reilly by quite a bit, neck and neck with JT. A 25 minute / night all situations Dman is quite a find. The old #1C vs #1D debate. Whereas I give JT a slight edge now, I think Hedman might age better.

I’ll take a top pairing stud D man always unless a 1C is a franchise player. Not many in that category without a 1OA pick like McDavid etc.

One is a cop, another RCMP in hospital with non-life threatening injury. He painted his car to look like an RCMP vehicle, they issued the car number earlier today so others could report him or at least not go to him for help.

First lower mainland grocery store will be doing (voluntary) temperature checks for shoppers as they enter the store. Anyone with a fever will be invited to rest at home and seek medical assistance. (frank)ing police state, let me do my sick shopping in peace.

JT scores a lot of goals. He's topped 30 multiple times, just missed it a few other times including shortened seasons. That's direct production that's hard to ignore. Also, Tavares is a franchise player, they both are arguably.

I hear ya though, I think a true #1 D is harder to find.
