The problem here, is that traders almost never want to take delivery so they'll sell the contracts off to those suppliers and most likely roll into a different month's contract. Well, when those that store oil have no more space, they aren't going to buy your contract. If you're a hedge fund, do you want thousands of barrels of physical oil? Not a (frank)ing chance, so they're paying people to take it off their hands. And what are those people doing? Paying tanker companies about 125k a day to park of the shores of coutnry x,y, and z. Look at the stock prices for oil tanker companies.

Agree completely, but Mexico and others have to stop pulling oil out of the ground completely. This oil needs to be delivered to areas and industries still using. I read that in Florida farmers are basically abandoning crops because of the lack of demand from Hotels and restaurants. Meanwhile there are mile long lineups at food banks. Need some military coordination of this sh!t.
