But hey there are plenty of Americans who would strongly disagree with me there. You’d think with triplets they’d want to be close to family. That can be St.louis or Toronto.

Both teams would have to trade away players to sign him. He’d get more money elsewhere...who knows what he really wants.

The Leafs might be more willing to dump more money into a D than St.Louis would be.

May be even looking at Dermott if he wants too much.

Assuming the cap is flat he could probably get
6x8-9 on the open market.

As we learned this season the team can’t have a weak bottom 6 it’s too easy to exploit. Are they a better team with getting rid of Kap/Johnnson/Dermott? Probably if they can fill out the bottom 6 successfully.

Edit: throw Engval in there as well
