Just read LeBrun's interview with Pieterangelo.
I did not know he has 2-year-old triplets.
Kinda makes you think he's looking for a 7 or 8 year contract. - Atomic Wedgie
All the more reason to come home to the Leafs. Triplets must be tough as poop. Pawn them off on the family here for a bit. |

They’re out protesting in favour of opening up the economy. He’s there reminding them of the health consequences of doing that too early. Both forms of self expression are legal. The result of hers may be dangerous |

Not without the Marleau’s to babysit. Worth the cap hit for that alone. |

That's a tough call. I guess his wife would have a lot to say about it, no idea where she is from.

I mean if I’m looking to raise children it’s not the USA or any Central American States....
But hey there are plenty of Americans who would strongly disagree with me there. You’d think with triplets they’d want to be close to family. That can be St.louis or Toronto.
Both teams would have to trade away players to sign him. He’d get more money elsewhere...who knows what he really wants. |

Well the wife likely has family in St.Louis as well.
The Leafs might be more willing to dump more money into a D than St.Louis would be. |

I can just see how it would go down with her
We lock eyes at Walmart while going for the same bag of pork rhinds, the kind of serendipity you can't ignore. After a whirlwind week, we end up at the local dive bar at 2pm on a Saturday, the kind of place where people turn a blind eye to drinking and driving because america is a free country... I hide the engagement ring in her bottle of coors light, she finds it just in time and only dribbles a bit of beer on her USA shirt as she pulls the ring out of her mouth. We get the leader of the local cult to wed us at his farm, and aftewards, we go to the Hard Rock cafe where I let her pick any single item she wants off the menu and happily split the bill with her. The rest is history. - TheMussel

Hire Marleau to work for the team, since he's probably gonna retire. |

Yeah, but if his wife wants a break from the kids for a bit and wants him to watch them, it'd be easier for him to drop them off at his side of the family, to shirk on his responsibilities. |

If St. Louis doesn't sign him before free agency and he meets with teams about signing with them, I'd be shocked if Dubas doesn't offer a whole lot of money. |

They’d have to move out 2 out of Kap, Johnnson, Kerfoot.
May be even looking at Dermott if he wants too much.
Assuming the cap is flat he could probably get
6x8-9 on the open market.

He can only offer the money if he trades away some players. Like I said in the last post.

?-Kerfoot-?
?-Spezza-?
Rielly-Petro
Muzzin-Holl
Sandin-Liljegren
Worth it? That bottom 6 would be dependent on Robertson and/or Barabanov working out and the Leafs getting cheap contracts to fill it out.
As we learned this season the team can’t have a weak bottom 6 it’s too easy to exploit. Are they a better team with getting rid of Kap/Johnnson/Dermott? Probably if they can fill out the bottom 6 successfully.
Edit: throw Engval in there as well |

Only if someone signs him, I guess. Might be less and less teams that will do it, though. |

I think we need Kap and Engvall. If Spezza re-signs for a 1 yr deal, could potentially move Kerfoot and his $3.5M contract

So you're telling me she hates the City of St. Louis for allowing the Rams to leave, and wants to move as soon as possible? |
