Just a general statement as to Tanev's worth, that's all, as for Hamonic, that's purely hypothetical, which I agreed would be a good fit. However, if you can't get someone like Hamonic then you have to think about re-signing Tanev because his worth to the team is in the numbers.

Pearson is a good trade chip next year at TDL. He has a good cap hit and is a 20 goal guy. You do have some guys that can play that spot . As we know some of those numbers have been empty net inflated numbers bit they are still numbers.

The other thing is he is a good value player.

You guys are entitled to your opinion . Like I said many times I understand.

I don't think the Cap is mismanaged. I thought at the beginning of last year Canucks alloted 4.5 for each of Tanev and Markstrom. They have even officially offered Marky 4.5 for 2 years.

Markstrom played over his head this year and wants more . Canucks probably had wiggle room for another half a mil. If he is looking for more than that then good for him he deserves it and I wish him well on his new team there are others that can fill in for two years here in the 3.5 -4.5 range.

Same with Tanev they probably have a reasonable offer for him . If he wants more he will be playing elsewhere.

As much as some call this management stupid they do have a blueprint. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean they wont reach their goals.
