Only 1 team wins the cup enough said
- Nighthawk

They're in business to make money off of the fans that want them to win, they make that money win or lose. You don't have to work hard to make money in this league in Canada, name one Canadian team that is managed well?

Trailer Quarantine Day 1 Movie#2 Rambo (The one in Burma)
Actually not a bad movie especially after the previous one that become almost a comedy. Lots of action, tons of gore, and he brought back the bow and arrow.

I didn’t know the Canucks are losing money. Relocation in the cards?
- Nighthawk

First of all, everyone is “losing money” right now. The economy is Duckhorned. But for millionaires and billionaires it’s easy to look like you’re losing money even if you aren’t actually. The Canucks aren’t going anywhere, the NHL wouldn’t allow it, despite what the fans think about Gary “Caymus” Bettman.

Calgary Hitmen

"The Calgary Hitmen are the most valuable franchise in Canadian major junior hockey, according to a study recently filed in an Ontario court as part of a lawsuit against the Canadian Hockey League.

According to a report on franchise economics filed in Ontario Superior Court in Toronto on June 14, the Hitmen are worth $68.95 million, tops among the 42 teams in the Ontario Hockey League and Western Hockey League."

I get it some ppl dislike JB but they don’t like anyone as a replacement. The Pile on Gang have blinders on.
- Nighthawk

Team pom-pom are the ones with blinders on.

My replacement GM would be fiscally prudent and would hire a competent pro scouting department.

You guys are entitled to your opinion . Like I said many times I understand.

I don't think the Cap is mismanaged. I thought at the beginning of last year Canucks alloted 4.5 for each of Tanev and Markstrom. They have even officially offered Marky 4.5 for 2 years.

Markstrom played over his head this year and wants more . Canucks probably had wiggle room for another half a mil. If he is looking for more than that then good for him he deserves it and I wish him well on his new team there are others that can fill in for two years here in the 3.5 -4.5 range.

Same with Tanev they probably have a reasonable offer for him . If he wants more he will be playing elsewhere.

As much as some call this management stupid they do have a blueprint. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean they wont reach their goals.

It feels like they made a very detailed plan but forgot to put the page numbers at the top. Then when Jim was on his way into the office he stopped for a hair cut and polish and accidentally dropped all his pages on the floor. The barber picked them up for him and handed them back in whatever order the landed and Jim said “Yup, that looks about right”.

If the cap is set at $62m what other changes are included?

It’s impossible without any other changes.

I am willing to bet a 20.00 donation to the charity of your choice that next year they are a top 10 team and cap compliant.

Mine would win the cup. There’s a flock of them out there to choose from.

I have no problem with their opinions .

Vintsy is an honorable guy . If I am wrong they don't make the top 10 I will donate to charity if they do have a successful year and make the top 10 I am sure he will do the same if he accepts.

It is kind of ironic how guys on here can simultaneously make fun of rebuilds in toronto and Edmonton, while at the same time have contempt for JBs rebuild. It’s litterally taken a fraction of the time, yet he's a baffoon cause some of his moves flopped. The guy isn’t without his mistakes, but the results kind of speak for themselves don’t they?

Nice post but stubborn blind hatred goes on instead of begrudgingly giving him any credit. If not perfect or close it’s axe time.
