Given the situation to date its a good bet that whenever things resume that GMJB will not be in trade mode and going after other team's free agents.
His management group will be under the gun to make cap room to keep the team they assembled together. They'll focus on keeping the big three UFA's in the fold and giving something fair to the higher profile RFA's. A couple big cap contracts will need to get dumped or squeezed out.
There may be changes to the bottom pairing D or bottom six forwards. This would be from within the organization whether it be prospects like Rafferty grabbing a roster spot or signing one we have rights to like a Hoglander or Tryamkin. |

Don't know who's whining most fans expect to lose its part of Canuck tradition.
But the extra pain that 2010-2011 season was the fans were sent in for a parade and wound up going through a mass execution instead.
The roller coaster running off the rails in '94 feeling or sky jumping with a failed parachute of '82 were much easier pains for the fans. |

Canucks might have interest in Hamonic or Brodie.
Other UFAs that could be a lot cheaper Dillon Gudas
