They have several different themed room's. Mellow massage to Caligula and leather masks. It really depends on what kind of day you've had. - VanHockeyGuy

Someone once asked me "where's the weirdest place you ever had sex?"
I said on a carousel.
She said "at a amusement park?"
I said, at an Airport. |

IMO, there will be no major contracts given out in free agency for incoming players. Most teams will try to hold on to their own FA at lower dollar figures (Covid Contracts).
I don't think players will want to move during these times, and will try to hold on to what they have, and teams will have extremely tight budgets.
The usual top spending teams are all in major Covid hotspots for the most part. So a player isn't going to say "Come on Honey, pack up the kids and let go to NY for an extra few dollars" |

I seen a comment from an unreliable source that said they will start up in July. If they are going to do it that makes the most sense. - VANTEL
No it doesn't. They should cancel the rest of the season & playoffs and focus on next season. I will have almost no interest in hockey in July or August. |

Imagine 7 NHL teams and staff all “isolating” in one city where restaurants and hotels will be operating at minimum capacity. Does each team take over an entire hotel? - 1970vintage
Who cares, I'll be camping or working in the garden or going to/having BBQ's. |

I’m just saying, try and stop team dinners, group runs etc. what’s the point of doing it all in one city. The Canucks used to own their own plane, I can’t imagine a charter would be that much given all of the airlines are grounded... |

Oh, I know what you were saying. The whole thing seems so ludicrous(greedy) on so many levels. I doubt I'm not alone on not giving a f*ck about hockey in the middle of summer after being quarantined for a few months. |

To be clear I wasn't saying we should go after them I was suggesting there will be a list of replacements that could fill in for half the cost.
Despite what anyone else thinks my choice this year would be Ristolainen Dillon and Tryamkin. - VANTEL
I hear ya
I just thought I'd give you the perspective in terms of a Canucks fan in Calgary sometimes I am force fed Flames coverage. I am a fan of Risto and Dillon, but Tryamkin I feel like won't fit in on the current team with guys like Hughes Petey and Miller as the top group. I think Miller would make him cry first practice. |

3 week training camp and then another 3 to finish the season? Players won’t want to stay separated from their families for 6 weeks. And the host city players get to sleep in their own beds? |

We'll just move the entire NHL to New Brunswick. Seating doesn't really matter as much, just need a healthy place to play. |

At least the teams that don't get into the playoffs get to go home after being away from the families, eating room service and living in a hotel room. They can rest up for the start of the condensed '20-'21 season in November after the Stanley Cup(tarnished) is awarded in mid October. By then there should be at least 4 more neutral sites that the players can be sequestered in away from their families. Sounds like a well thought out(greedy) plan. |
