The pressure that’s being put on politicians to reopen must be incredible. They’re in a no win situation. - shack67
Agreed. I like that Ford is still leaving it in the hands of medical professionals and scientists.
I saw on Twitter, NHL is thinking about playing regular season games in July. The off site options are not gonna happen |

They're not too bad man. Just like dock spiders. More annoying than a problem. Wasps are the true villain. - AdamFrench
It’s my phobia. I hate snakes, even the little garter snakes that are native to NS. It’s my mothers fault, she passed it on to me, but I made sure that my son didn’t know about it so he’s ok with them.
I could always move to Newfoundland, no snakes there. |

Ever see a dock spider battling a leech?
Didn't step foot into that lake again. - TheMussel
I still have nightmares because of dock spiders. I won’t even go in our wood shed, it’s the spiders domain.
The spiders on lake Nipissing are absolutely grotesque. |

True.
Tree planting became incredibly painful when the wasps came out. Some guys would get stung 20-30 times at once, lol.
I got 6 at once and that was enough. I have a scar on the tip on my nose from a wasp sting, probably the most painful thing I’ve ever felt. |

I used to work for an old italian dude in a nursery. I told him that wasps had make a nest in one of root sacks in the tree section, had a handful sting me while I was watering the trees... he gave me a can of bug spray and told me to get rid of it.
I did not get rid of it. |

I got stung in the eye when I was 12 and I've had my blood up to kill every wasp I come across. Can't even imagine working out there man. |

Jesus 😳
Yeah it’s really hell treeplanting. What they don’t tell you is that it’s cold, and it rains everyday. The bears are an afterthought.
At least those big paper wasps in Ontario are fairly tame... it’s those bald faced bumholes that’ll (frank) you up. |

Generally snakes in ontario are harmless.
But Northern water snakes are known to be aggressive. So if you’re swimming in waters with lots of vegetation, keep an eye out for those. There are rattle snakes in certain areas along Georgian bay, and into Muskoka, but I’ve only seen one, so they’re uncommon. There’s also prairie rattle snakes in AB and SK.
I don’t like snakes either, they creep me out. This one is a hog-nosed snake, the biggest snakes in Canada. (He was waiting for Reeses, so I scared him away) I’ve seen these guys get massive. Like, 6ft long..
- Arctic_AARDVARK
Rat Snake is the biggest. I have a photo of my 5 year old daughter checking out her fingernails standing a couple feet away from a 6 footer in Long Point.
My sister had a pet Hog Nose named Slinky. They are so cool. Stoopid farmers in my home town called them Puff Adders because they flatten out their heads like in your photo and hiss. They will also rustle their tail in dead leaves to make you think twice. If that doesn’t work in scaring you off, they roll over and play dead, tongue hanging out. Roll them back on their stomach and they flip right back over on their backs.
I agree with the water snakes, been bitten by them a few times...they’re bumholes. |
