If they did continue the season or even if heavy restrictions are on until August just before next season MDZ had a great point.

Players living in Sweden are able to skate right now and they are going to be months ahead of every other player.

So what I am getting at is Willie is going to win the Conn Smyte

- Santo_44

You are assuming that Willie is actually putting in some effort keeping himself in shape.
Last season that didn't work - why would it this time?

Um, did you see his most recent shirtless video. The league leader at scoring from net front is currently jacked and shredded brother.

Wedge it won't let me quote your post but I would pay a hundred bucks to read those old bigfoot message boards because I know they would be pure solid gold.

I saw palm trees in the background, so I'm going to take a wild guess they aren't back in Sweden.

Why are Americans so offended by this hand gesture?

I remember watching the Aerosmith video "Cryin" and they actually blurred out Alicia Silverstone's middle finger.

Like, you can show people being killed and their bodies being cut up on prime time TV, but not a finger?

WTF?

- Atomic Wedgie

Cant swear either or god forbid show a boob.

Yeah I agree.

I’d like to see what else is on the list as well. But I’m just saying I’m not surprised, it’s a pretty low risk environment and their goal here is to re-open the economy as much as possible.

Decision by a Governor who didn’t know that asymptotic patients could spread covid and opposed by almost every mayor of the state and all of the scientific community of the country. It’s also inconsistent with Trump’s guidelines which call for 14 days of declining caseloads.

But, yeah people need their their tats

Oh brother, so would I.

I used to be on dial-up to access it.

About once a year, I'll go here:

https://bigfootforums.com/

Not sure if it is any relation to what I used to frank around on.

It's fun/frightening to read from people who truly believe.

There's a fantastic bit of scienmatific speculation going on here:

https://bigfootforums.com...ic/72918-covid-19-and-bf/

One for the "Rank Speculation" file, but I can't help thinking about what the implications might be for BF populations in the face of a global, viral pandemic like the one gathering steam. I've long believed that the NA BF population took a hit when the Europeans landed in the New World, like the Native populations did as well. (The scope of that is something archaeologists and anthropologist have only recently begun to appreciate) The virus du jour now winding its way through the world's population? Who knows, but if this one proves especially virulent to the BF community, we may get our type specimen sooner rather than later. BOLO people!

Of course it does. The most important consequences of the pandemic are its implications for Squatch research.

If there's anything that tempts me to break my straight edge streak, it's the thought of smoking a joint and reading that thread. It would be amazing. Sigh.

Lol research lololol

Last time I was in California, I actually dragged the kids to the Bigfoot Discovery Museum:

https://www.bigfootdiscoveryproject.com/

Holy frank, what a crushing disappointment. It was actually worse than the pathetic website I've linked above.

Few faded newspaper clippings, a continuous loop of the Paterson-Gimlin film on a 40 year old picture tube TV, and various crappy souvenirs of bigfoot memorabilia from various small towns in the Pacific Northwest.

Yeah, I'm into Bigfoot that much.

Agreed

Most plans I've seen all have phases, so it just seems a little interesting that those are in phase 1 is all, but I see your point.

This is the list after a quick search:
Gyms and fitness centers
bowling alleys
body art studios
barbers, cosmetologists, and hair designers
nail care artists
estheticians and their respective schools
massage therapists

- RickJames77

Gyms are a little baffling to me...I can’t speak for everyone but for myself I’ve learned from this that I don’t need a gym. I’ve been able to keep up with exercise at home.

But yeah all those seem to be 1 on 1 services that already put an emphasis on sterilization before all this.

I don’t necessarily agree with it but I don’t think it’s worth getting your panties in a twist over it.

It’s an extremely sterile environment, 1 on 1, long appointments meaning you see very few customers a day but still have large cash flow.

I wouldn’t put it in phase 1 but I see reasons for it to get the economy going. I don’t think it falls under the crazy train.

I think it’s important to realize once we enter phase 1 we are doing it to help mitigate economic damages while still maintaining the virus. We will be looking at businesses that can be opened that have minimal contact with large amounts of people.

A hairdresser will see 15-20 people a day. A tattoo artist will see 1-3.

Which would you prefer to be opened up first to help keep the economy going?

I luckily have a Peloton and their service has a lot more than just cycling classes. That and some weights and I haven't been to a gym in a few years.

I understand it's not necessary and you can do without it, but I like their product a lot and the home piece is extremely convenient.

I think the big thing people use Gyms for is motivation.

I get it’s hard to get a routine going but once you are on a roll it’s pretty hard to stop. At home or somewhere else.

To be fair, if you walked around Boston like that, you'd get really (frank)ing tough really (frank)ing fast...or dead.
