Anvil! The Story of Anvil Might be one of the best rock docs out there. Many say they were the influence for the movie Spinal Tap. Great Canadian rock lore.
I appreciate your effort but there’s a few one-and-done’s in that list of yours. - bloatedmosquito
Was just reading about Markstrom . Pretty much stuff we have all heard him say before. He said he wants to finish his career as a Canuck. Benning says he wants him here and they both say we just have to wait for the final Cap announcement.
I say it will be 5 mil.
I also read from a unreliable source that Petriangelo will sign with Leafs . I can actually see this happening. He will return home to try to get that long awaited cup

I could see him taking 5 on a long deal. How old is he, 28 ish? 6 years?

Sounds like a number of players from different teams around the league have been told to be back in their respective cities no later than mid-May. Not sure how this works but some maybe be doing “informal” skates in late May early June leading into a possible NHL camp.
You said Queen twice, also, not really “metal”, nor was Boston. Plus I don’t think you could rattle off another 100 “good” metal bands from the 80’s. - 1970vintage
Their first album was really heavy. But Queen was a 70's band.
Of every jurisdiction in the United States, Canada and western Europe with more than five million people, B.C. has the fewest deaths adjusted for population.
I think the seed was planted for Glam Metal with this particular album though. It was a lot heavier than most of what was going on at the time. (1973) - Load Management
Really? I’m thinking bands like Kiss and Judas Priest were much more influential on glam metal than Queen ever were.

I always put Queen in their own category.
Anyway, I was too busy listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd's "One More From the Road" while pounding Extra old Stock and smoking endless joints of Columbian Gold or Mexican Red Hair.

Yeah, really. I don't consider Priest to be glam. Kiss was still cutting their teeth when Queen's first album came out. It's just my personal opinion, but Queen certainly pushed the paradigm toward what 80's hair and glam became.
