Oh, and then when a reporter asked him if he thought it was irresponsible to make suggestions to the public that are potentially dangerous his response was “I’m the president and you’re fake news” the only thing missing was hands at the side of his head with fingers spread, tongue out going plblblblblblblbl. - 1970vintage
Didn't he also say "CNN is fake news, don't talk to me."? It is mind boggling that this guy has a real shot at a second term. I wonder how many of his faithful will inject disinfectant because he said it might help... |

Did Trump actually tell people to do that? It is trending on Twitter now .
I seen one person tweet Trump is one step away from telling people to go throw a virgin into a volcano. - VANTEL
lol not likely. Like the time they tried to hang the death of that guy on Trump for taking hydrochloroquine. Trump said the 'medical version' would help but people took it upon themselves to ingest fish tank cleaner and try to blame Trump...can't even make this sh!t up |

They look worried. - Marwood
They are starting to jump up in cases and deaths. since 12am EST they have over 800 new cases and over 100 more deaths. They will start getting worried. They have as many deaths as us and less than half the confirmed cases. |

Michael Moore had a good take on that the other night
Donald Trump didn't just fall out of the sky and land up to be the president. He is a creation of the people. |

Trump isn't America, he's the 'oppressed old white male who's cranky about 'ferriners' taking up jobs and suspicious of anything the government says/does' demographic. The problem is, those are the most vocal and the most willing to actually get out an vote. It doesn't help that the Electoral College is the worse way to elect someone for high office and that you can win that, but not get the most votes overall. |

Pointing at the electoral college as why you get someone like Trump just looks like people only have a problem with that system when their party or candidate doesn't get elected. I think the two party system which both serve the elite and not the people is the real failure.

The same thing happens in Canada as both the Americans and Canadians use a FPTP voting method but different variations of it. Trudeau didn't win the popular vote in 2019 but he still formed government.
"According to CTV's election results as of early Tuesday morning, the Conservatives took 6,154,085 of Canada's nearly 18 million ballots cast, claiming 34.4 per cent of the popular vote compared to the Liberals' 33.1 per cent -- a difference of more than 230,000 votes."

Exactly. Seems only an issue with people who oppose the guy who won the election.
All this talk about the type of people who are more likely to vote are attracted to Trumps rhetoric are simply caught in a bullpoop narrative. Trump took the Black, Hispanic and Woman vote from the Democrats. Are these the people that are drawn to some old white racist? Trump took the rust belt states from the Dems which was a stronghold previously. This is directly related to the auto industry and the financial collapse and how hard they were hit under the last administration. Look to NAFTA and watching Wall Street getting bailed out instead of the promised jailing of the corrupt group who crashed the system and foreclosed thousands of homes on the working class. Its thoughtless to simply pass it off on the number of ignorant people going to the polls and voting for Trump. That is what you get from listening the filtered media without any objectionable thinking involved. Factless reporting.
