he’s hangin with friends I see. I’m doing the same, had a buddy over yesterday afternoon, we had beers on the back patio. Which I’ve done several times now. Really except for the golf course being closed for a month, now open, and my local pub being closed my life hasn’t really changed tremendously. It’s changed, but not hugely.

My wife went there a few days ago and quickly regretted it. She also does our grocery shopping but is selective when she goes.

People’s homeschooling kids or taking care of older parents have had a huge life change.

I think there’s only been 110 confirmed cases on Vancouver Island, out of 800K people that’s minuscule.

One of the players was saying the the playoffs might actually be one of the best. For the vast majority of teams, they'll be going in with a 100% healthy lineup. You'll see the best of every team out of the gate. That first round would be amaaazing
- NewYorkNuck

I thought this at first ...but by the time round one starts you’ll see most teams will have multiple groin injuries, or whatever else we see to start most seasons

Going to Costco is actually “safer” than some grocery stores. Yes, there are long lines to get in, but that’s because they are strictly regulating the number of people inside and they have so much space that it’s actually quite easy to stay away from other shoppers. We went into a local Island grocery chain and it was not the same. People everywhere, no real flow, no recognition or concern by shoppers.

Yes....it’s the lines and control that made it a long winded ordeal. But they’re there for a reason.

they've been doing well. did you hear that the island's mayors want the premier to restrict ferry travel to the island over the may long weekend?

even though ferry travel was down approx. 80% last long weekend, people still seem to want strict measures. seems like this province is taking dr. henry's suggestions very seriously.

Over with the Hockey Team guys last thursday night for beers...tough go with no summer skates coming so far. So are golf courses in BC just open to members only on the private courses? Or are all courses in general allowed to open with restrictions? Our Provincial Doctor Deena Hinshaw's head is starting to swell here with more daily crap coming down... lol

I haven't really changed a thing either. Some pubs and my local shopping stores are closed but man I just want to play golf. They'll allow 200 people in Walmart or CDN Tire but won't allow 50 people on a golf course all spread out here

Yeah, the grocery store I was in on Friday not so much. We “needed” something specific that only they carry, so it was in and out pretty quickly but the shoppers seemed less educated in the new ways of shopping.

I just kept hands in pockets and eyes open.
