They chose to go a different path which may be beneficial long term. By allowing the 98% healthy to develop that 'herd immunity' it may peak and disappear quicker but their death rates may be slightly higher. Many think the massive over-reaction with Lockdowns and quarantines will actually 'promote' the second and possibly third waves. Hard to say yet but Taiwan was predicted to have some of the highest death rates ever and with no lockdowns and quarantines have barely any. Different approaches and numbers for different areas I guess.

Over with the Hockey Team guys last thursday night for beers...tough go with no summer skates coming so far. So are golf courses in BC just open to members only on the private courses? Or are all courses in general allowed to open with restrictions? Our Provincial Doctor Deena Hinshaw's head is starting to swell here with more daily crap coming down... lol

I haven't really changed a thing either. Some pubs and my local shopping stores are closed but man I just want to play golf. They'll allow 200 people in Walmart or CDN Tire but won't allow 50 people on a golf course all spread out here

Courses are starting to reopen now. Not sure if it’s members only, but that would be my guess. 2 golfers per hole, longer spacings for tee times etc. I would image the clubhouse will still be closed but grab and go snacks still available.

But golf course closures in Alberta probably have more to do with the snow than anything else...
