Yes not exciting but for a Kings fan who gives a (frank), they won two titles.

Winning is winning yes.
When not a cup winner then entertaining is next best.

I would have loved to have been the one and only Devils fan back in the 90's/00's. Until we win, I don't care about style points. Just win, Baby.

Twisted Sister, also not “heavy metal” ask Metallica how they like being lumped in with and compared to Twisted Sister.

I agree, the ‘80’s spawned some great bands in a new style. But you claimed it had never happened before and likely never would again (I’m paraphrasing, I don’t recall your exact words). I would argue that bands like Sound Garden, Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam did it again in the ‘90’s. The same thing happened in the late 60’s early ‘70’s and again and again and again.

But lumping Queen in with heavy metal, or in the ‘80’s is just wrong.

Trailer Quarantine Day# 5 Movie# 13 Roadhouse

Another 80's movie full of action and cheese. When all the ladies think Patrick Swayze they think Dirty Dancing. Guys would say Roadhouse (or maybe Red Dawn, I have to see if the DVD is in the bin...) Great fight scenes and hot 80's women with big hair that Lordy H will enjoy. And good old Sam Elliot, who doesn't like Sam Elliot? And Terrible Terry Funk!

A Movie Quote: “Take the biggest guy in the world, shatter his knee and he'll drop like a stone.”

out of 5

I mean, it’s either five thumbs up or none. As a film, this is probably one of the worst ever made. It’s up there with Above The Law, Hard To Kill and Marked For Death. But it’s so freaking good. It’s like eating a second piece of chocolate cake, in bed, before having sex with your girlfriend, while your wife watches from the corner...

Gotta say that i've been appreciating the distractions that this place is providing.
It was a bit dry when hockey shut down, but some of you have really hit your stride in here.

I wouldn't even get the cake into the bedroom before my wife chopped my balls off.

A buddy of mine who always cheated on his GF told me he'd get home and start a fight, that way she's not sniffing around.

Start thinking about one word to describe the NHL's plan to complete the season (if it happens): Desperate, hopeful, dangerous, greedy, necessary, stupid, workable, fragile,
hallelujah etc.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hard to believe honest Dave never really found a steady job with the NHL since calling the CBC stupid the first time.

I think, outside of the greed words, fragile is the best. If one guy on one team gets COVID, do they play on without him? What if 5 guys crop up a few days after that on the same team? That team is eliminated?

I’m not sure Dave wanted to work for the NHL, but it’s probably good he’s working for TSN and not Sports Net with these comments

Good for him for speaking his mind.

He has only picked up secondary jobs. He is no longer the man.

He use to be like Ron Maclean and now is like Kelly Hrudey

Yeah I know the story. Just saying, maybe he’s happier that way? Also that TSN doesn’t really care, or is careful what they say about the NHL or its teams the way SN is. Rick D is an example of that...
