Yeah, I think we were going for the "American Pie" forebears. The teen sex comedies. Caddy Shack, Weird Science, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, St. Elmo's Fire etc. also had some of those elements but were less about young boys getting lucky.
Not in the same genre, but if you haven't seen White Palace with James Spader and Susan Sarandon is pretty steamy. - 1970vintage
Absolute classic. The scenes with Chet (Bill Paxton RIP) are worth it alone...solid comedy
Blockbuster biopic highlighting America's top tank commander in WW2. Excellent acting by George C Scott, he is Patton, and deservedly won the Oscar for his performance . Shows how very much an ego maniac and a prima donna he was, but he did kick a lot of German ass.
A Movie Quote: I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor, dumb bastard die for his country.

Good call on the 80's music yesterday, especially Queensryche. Very underrated band Rage for Order and Operation Mindcrime still are staples for me. - carsonagenic
100%
I have them in line with the impact that Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Megadeth, on and on Queensryche produced some groundbreaking stuff.
To me they should be mentioned in the top 10 from that era all the time.
Mind crime was an absolute masterpiece. Rage for Order laid the groundwork for it. I remember the first time I heard Mindcrime through headphones and was absolutely blown away by the story and musicianship/writing. That album holds a special place for me. I'm putting it on now lol

Hey Vintsy I'm going with a 2018 Cab Franc Niagara Inniskillin was recommended. Has a very 'caramel buttery' finish what are your thoughts on Niagara Cab Franc's?
Home made pizza tonight thin crust Italian style so I hope it pairs well.

Nice!
Cab Franc is one of the better varieties for Ontario vineyards. It ripens relatively early and buds (starts growing) relatively late, which makes it a good choice for regions that experience spring/fall frost. While Inniskillin is one of those mega corporations (Artera Wines, formerly Constellation Brands, formerly Vincor) they have the ability to make some good wine, because they have access to A LOT of grapes. Their limited production, single estate/vineyard wines are typically very good and win all kinds of awards. Their made in bulk commercial wines made from a blend of imported and domestic fruit are, well, not. If it has an actual region (Niagara Peninsula, or Beemsville or something) chances are better. If it says "CIC - Cellared in Canada" no so much.
