So for example if I think Cream sucks goat balls, which I do, I can actually say it without getting attacked by the whackjobs on this thread that actually listen to their crap? More of a one on one debate?

Exactly, one on one. Whoever makes the better argument wins.

I have a proposal on a new activity, The Debators (CBC radio) style battle of the bands. I’ll choose two artists, they could be the same genre or different, same era or different etc and two of you will battle it out as to why your band is the greatest and the other sucks goat balls.

I would post the two bands in the morning, we would take volunteers and you would have time to do your research. Then on the new blog, in your second post (the first one thanking Carol obviously) you will make your case, using facts, alternate facts, stories, humor etc. your opponent will then make their case in which time you will have an opportunity to craft your rebuttal. Each team gets one rebuttal. Then we the plebes get to vote on the winner.

I know every time we start talking I learn something new.

Give some thumbs up if you would participate. It won’t be much fun if it’s the same two people all the time, or if half of you don’t give two poops about it.

This sounds like fun but I am supposed to be working and not on the computer all day

Does that mean school is done for the year.

When I went to school the desks had inkwells so you will need to bring me up to speed here

i was surprised when he told me. i think it means that they won't have any more in-school classes.

they're still having classes from home. he told me that it's a mix of online (pre-recorded and uploaded online lectures) and emailed lesson notes/assignments.

school's still going on but it seems like it will be from home.

Pigtails get dunked in the inkwell. that's the first step of the mating ritual, isn't it?

I do hope they stay home. Let them finish online.

I visited my Daughter yesterday who works in the ER . They are well protected in there but I was surprised yesterday when we asked if we could drop some ice cream at the door for the kids . She said come inside and wash our hands and it will be okay.

I seen my dentist about two weeks ago he hd a form for me to sign and he told me the doctors told him if his son (9 months old ) caught it it would be like a common cold for a child that age.

I am shocked how casual some of front liners are.

Trailer Quarantine Day# 6 Movie# 16 The Untouchables

Highly stylized (made up) story of Elliot Ness and his band of "Untouchables" battling Al Capone and his rum running ways in 1930 Chicago. Very entertaining with great actors including a fat Robert DeNiro as Capone. Always drawn to the 20's & 30's as it seems like it was an interesting time to be alive, though it's probably just Hollywood making it look that way.

A Movie Quote: You wanna get Capone? Here's how you get him. He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue! That's the Chicago way

It’s a toss up for me between Hughes and Makar. I think they’ve both done special things this season. I really hope we get a few games to end the season leading to the playoffs so one of them can get hot and separate.

First Prairie thunderstorm of the year just beginning to hit. As much as I hate this place, the thunderstorms a cool when they hit. I have a deal with my wife from Day 1 of when we moved here. If I see tornado, we get in the truck and head back West as fast as we can. Come on tornado!

Already had my first up here in the Cariboo 4 or 5 days ago. Lost a sheet of medal off one of the old outbuildings on my property. In Booner fashion, it will lay on the lawn until it's in the way of my mower in a couple of weeks.

OK most of the stuff I listen to through headphones while Drumming behind my kit. Right now I'm on a John Stanier kick. I've loved his Drumming for years. It's fun.
My Drumming today included:

Battles - Gloss Drop
Helmet - Aftertaste
Elastica
A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step
MCR - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge

Later...on my way to and from work this week in my truck on a thumb drive:

Outkast - Aquemini
Fishbone - Give a Monkey a Brain and He'll Swear He's the Center of the Universe
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Nas - Illmatic
Tesla - Psychotic Supper
Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze
