I think I'm becoming a fan of loading up the two top lines and giving them the majority of the workload. Rolling four lines is a nice idea but wonder if it works if you don't have the scoring depth. - bloatedmosquito
Yes me as well load up 2 lines for sure. That’s difficult to match up against & a necessity for PO runs. Funny thing is we can look for the 3rd line to be real game changers once it’s developed. The progress is very encouraging. I’m not one for rolling 4 lines tbh unless it’s regular season games & we can overwhelm teams overall. It’s a grind of a long season & the need to be deep helps when some lines are having mini slumps or checked down. The PO’s are for unsung hero types & what team can overcome smothering D &/or a hot goalie.
Our biggest need is for top 4 D to be assembled & we are not there yet but getting there. I consider injuries as part of my reasoning & if 2 D men can play 25+mins when needed.

Looking ahead we can use RHD & LW given players contracts expire or move along. JV could switch over to LW easy enough. Helps a potential RW logjam. At RW I see as a position to deal assets at some point. Already moved a C in Madden but reasonably ok at C.
My depth chart leaves 14 contracts open before or barring trades etc.

Pearson & Bo have good chemistry. Hard to mess with that. - Nighthawk
They do. As do Pearson and Toffoli. Green needs to stop being a goof and try Toffoli with Bo and Pearson. If all back are healthy for the mini camps soon BB should be with Petey and Miller and TT with Pearson/Bo but I really think Green was just being a wiener to the media as they all wanted TT with Pearson. a 'la Babcock.
With JTM giving JV props that is a good sign IMO. I wish TT stays. He could be a great fit here if only to ever play with Pearson lol - LordHumungous
I honestly like JV and would love to see him turn into a 20 goal guy. I don't think he is there yet and I still do think he could get a good 2 D in a proper trade.

Jeff Beck on the top of my don’t you (frank)ing die yet list. Seen Page (at Zep’s peak in 70 or 71) Clapton, Townsend, Richards. Really, really want to see Jeff Beck.

Fair points. I'm hoping he pans out here. Would hate to see him leave and score 30 somewhere else lol
Trailer Quarantine Day# 9 Movie# 21 The Adventures of Ford Fairlane
So here is the first dog of the group. The bin is getting shallower so I thought I would pull this one from the past. Andrew Dice Clay plays Ford Fairlane, a rock n roll detective in search of a groupie named Zuzu Petals (anybody get the reference?) to help solve a rock star murder. For Lordy that rock star is played by none other than Motley Crue's Vince Neil. Obviously corny humour and typical Dice one liners. On a side note a very young Lauren Holly pre-Dumb and Dumber
A Movie Quote: What are your names? Neil and Bob, or is that like what you do?

Of course I didn't do the math myself and got it from a web site. I said it didn't include this season stats so it's stats from last season. I've read this opinion from a number of articles before. It's an opinion I agree with. When AR and BH produce better that BB and BH then I don't like the thought of putting Brock with Bo.
That's the point of the conversation. You asked for proof and you got some. If you have numbers to show different outside of their rookie seasons please let me know. - bloatedmosquito
What are you on about? I accused you of cutting and pasting an old post if not someone else's post altogether and passing it off as your own... instead of something you were claiming to write now. It reads of something written a year ago after the opening paragraph. AR a constant with BO? Did you not watch any games this season? Did they play any shifts together let alone games? Very few if any. Your post needs a time machine to make any sense.
I asked you to post your sources since supposedly you just wrote this.... you did not.
You say you posted proof? What proof? You said Bo and Brock were a black hole together. Lefty pointed out Brock's numbers with Bo and you spun some nonsense about those numbers not counting because that was 3 almost 4 years ago? What??? Their goal and assist totals together dont count in the debate? Ok... and as far as it being almost 4 years... no, it's 3 years plus 3 or 4 weeks.... that is not "soon to be 4 years". A spin inside a spin.
Then when I do the same as Lefty and point to their offensive production together you then try and pass off some cherry picked advanced stats on chances. So their goals and assists together are dismissed because of the goals and assists they could of had??? A black hole would mean they cant score together... and that is false. Both guys were on pace for over 30 in 82 playing together 5 on 5 and on the PP. Yes they should have converted more chances... but you are wrong about the black hole claim... 60 goal pace between the two is anything but a black hole.
Your proof is none existent as usual. Just trying to spin your foot out of your mouth.
