Not sold on replacing Green as of yet. Rather change his associate coaches other than Manny. Til there is a high profile candidate available Green stays. If JN were to can Green only Gallant would be my choice. Idk of any others that would be an improvement at this time. - Nighthawk
Lack of upgrades available is a legit argument. I agree. I wouldnt go back to Willie D or some other incapable coach just because I want someone other than Green. Green is in over his head,,, but this team could do worse.
One thing I like is Green giving young players ice time compared to the coaches that refuse to recognize they can handle it. That is important but now this team is moved onto a new stage. It's not the only priority anymore. This team has very capable vets and it needs to balance out. And I dont mean replacing Boeser on the top line with LE and shoving him in the bottom 6.
Bettman confirms possibility of December start next season:
Bettman: “There's no magic for next season of starting in October as we traditionally do. If we have to start in November or December, that's something that will be under consideration.”
They are going to complete this year come hell or high water. - LeftCoaster
I guess they could always start the season in Dec now, and have the cup finals in July. They would need to adjust free agency dates etc to line up, but that would fill that nasty gap when there are no sports.

I’m pretty sure the majority of the owners are onboard with doing whatever it takes to collect as much revenue as possible #playoffs
All I did was debate his claim. The freaking out and personal shots over it were his alone. You can call that pushing back... but I'll wager that with your 130 IQ that you really recognize it as nothing more than a temper tantrum in a losing argument. - boonerbuck
I'm still waiting for you to show some type of statistical information rather than conjecture and unfounded opinion.
Regardless of the above pixelated BJ, ASL already called you out for your typical BS.
I was browsing youtube for some fresh audio book prospects and I came across this book. The narrator is pretty good and although I'm not into the apocalyptic movies that much( a couple I've liked), this audio book has been quite enjoyable so far.
All the suggested audio books have been of this topic lately. I wonder why?

I've stated the stats you requested over and over. Goals and assists. You simply don't recognize goals and assists in a debate about offensive production is all. Not when it poops all over your cherry picked stats about chances.
I've never looked up at the score board and said, poop we are losing, even though we are beating them 6-1, they have out chanced us! How will we make the playoffs??? When I go and look at career stats, is chances at the top of the list?
Your definition of a "black hole offensively" disregards goals and assists and game winners. What offense really means is to you is, who has the better % of chances for and against. 29 goals means nothing if your % shows you should have had more?????

Why are you still refusing to give a link to your source so we can see the numbers for ourselves? For me, I want to see why they only show stats at least 1 year old. Why is that?

The current contracts legally last to June 30 th. What happens when a player gets injured and he is not under contract.

Here's your 3 laughies and a slap in the face...

I have no idea what you're going on about. You keep quoting goals and assists from three years ago. Since then the canucks have drafted EP and traded for TJM and the scenarios and dynamics have changed.
The question was and continues to be, what's the best fit for Brock NOW.
Looking at line combinations from last season and this partial season (not three years ago), statistics for BB with BH, and then without, paint a different picture.
I recommend it to all on here if you haven't tried it.
You know Booner, you can be an bumhole. I can tell your life revolves around your perception of winning and losing HB "arguments". How about just reading what's being posted and not react emotionally regardless of pass disputes.
I'm not going to play your (frank)ing game. - A_SteamingLombardi
Disagreeing with bloated is a fkn game?
Thats all I did before he had his temper tantrum and started with his usual poop. Next post from him is running his mouth about me shutting the (frank) up... then the personal attack game started the post after that... and it's my game.
This is funny... as usual, argue with 1 and you get the entire clique.
I'll say the same to you... if you cant handle hockey debates... then why are you here?

If both parties agreed to extend the current deal to last until - choose whatever date you like - Oct 31. They become UFA/RFA’s Nov 1st. Yadda yadda.
I don’t think any of this should or will happen. But if they are determined to get it going again, what’s the difference when the season starts? Late September is magical, baseball playoffs, NHL pre-season and beginning of regular season, NFL in full swing, NBA just starting. But the lull in the summer when it’s mid season MLB, and that’s it, so boring.
