You play the drums. No other rock drummer had the impact that Ginger had. He introduced the double base drum, which is the foundation of any heavy rock or metal band since!

It's possible to like the Drummer and not like the band. Just like it's possible to like a player and not the team. I'm just not big on Clapton nor Jack Bruce's voice, never have been. I have a different palette.
