Trailer Quarantine Day# 9 Movie# 22 American History X

Intense thriller starring Ed Norton as a white supremacists that goes to prison for brutally killing 2 black criminals. In prison he learns acceptance and tolerance from a former teacher, and a black inmate. However his previous life continues to affect his family, especially his younger brother.
Awesome acting, great supporting cast, brutally tough dialogue and major racial themes.

A Movie Quote: You see this? It means NOT WELCOME!

Oh, I admit it, old fart now. Can't believe it when I turned 50. Still feel thirtysomething in my head. Keep telling myself the mirror lies.

they ain't Steely Dan but damn close.

Did you know that the line in Hotel California "they stab them with their steely knives" is a shot at Steely Dan? Friendly shot, but a shot never the less.

You gonna post a source or am I going to have to take your word for it? It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that you've been laying it a little thick today.

I can only post so many links to stat web sites. What does a guy got to do around here to back up his opinion?

As for the Steely Dan jab, it's in the liner notes of "The Very Best Of" album. But that might not be proof enough for some.

No worries Bro, I think Chad Kroeger's chart told us all we need to know about the stats. I'll take your word about the Eagles. Just proves my point about how good Steely Dan was.

Not sure, had plans but have to play it by ear. Drinking and recreational drug use for sure. Location and number of people is still up in the air.

Hey, I think SD is in the hall of fame so I can't deny their talent. I just think their music is so vanilla.

But getting back to a much more important topic, how the (frank) can you like SD and not like Cream?!

Cream is a three-piece that produced huge, unforgettable, totally unique to them sound. Essentially all three musicians are considered (by most) to be at the top of their instrumental vocation. They are considered to be the first rock super group ever.

You play the drums. No other rock drummer had the impact that Ginger had. He introduced the double base drum, which is the foundation of any heavy rock or metal band since!

My heart is starting to miss a beat. Got to sit down for a minute and relax... Breath Bloated, breath...

Go towel yourself off.

It's possible to like the Drummer and not like the band. Just like it's possible to like a player and not the team. I'm just not big on Clapton nor Jack Bruce's voice, never have been. I have a different palette.

With Steely Dan and you, it's different. I know deep down you love them.

My wife can't stand them but likes Neal Peart. She hates Geddy's voice. It puts strain on the relationship from time to time but we tolerate. Personally, I feel lucky to have seen them live. Great band.
