Just finished watching season 5 of Peaky Blinders. This great song has been stuck in my head after they played it in a scene.

that wiener is the biggest idiot these marshmallows have ever elected into the Prime Ministers office in history.

Sadly he was the best option though

Nighthawk doesn’t like to talk politics but he’s continually talking about the oppressive behaviour of the peoples Republic of China, maybe he can chime in?

A friend of mine who runs a business in Whistler offering chances for people to go to the rifle range and enjoy a large collection of firearms that are restricted in Canada is no longer able to operate.

He is a very law abiding citizen. He is also a licenced instructor who teaches people firearms safety and provides the Canadian Firearms exam. He is a conservationist and volunteers at the Rod and Gun club to teach youth safe handling and positive culture to be a part of the solution instead of the problem. He has a couple of employees. He also offered people an opportunity to enjoy these firearms without buying and adding to the circulation.

Backwards. These are the people Trudeau goes after instead of the how lazy our efforts are to stop the flow coming across the border and destined for the wrong hands in every single case which is in the thousands every year.

This Ban will do very little. It will fool people into thinking something has been done. That is all.

Restricted... these firearms were 100% legal if you had a licence for restricted. You are thinking "Prohibited" perhaps. He will have to hand these over for destruction I guess...

I wonder how many thousands of gun toting criminals are going to hand in their banned weapons?

People are so gullible.

That is why I laugh when I hear a handful of people only breaking the law like Lefty said the other day.

It is illegal in Canada to carry a concealed weapon and at any given minute of the day I would bet there are tens of thousands walking around with a gun.

You should be more worried about the $250 billion dollar debt Trudeau has just created. We are now in a recession so with or without guns, your friends business would be in trouble regardless.

True assault rifles were banned in Canada in 1978, these rifles, such as an AR15, is purely lip service. An AR15 in Canada operates exactly the same as a semi automatic Browning BAR hunting rifle, they both are semi automatic rifles that hold five bullets, there’s no difference between them except one looks like a military style rifle and one looks like a hunting rifle.....THEY FUNCTION IN THE EXACT SAME FASHION.

Anyone can modify either rifle, illegally, if they want to. I mean, whatever, I don’t care one way or the other, I just hate Trudeau’s grand standing and people jumping on his wagon without really understanding what the differences are.

On one hand Trudeau gets in front of a microphone and says you don’t need an AR15 to hunt, even though it operates the same as any other semi automatic hunting rifle, and then in the print news he says aboriginals are exempt because they need them for hunting????? WTF.....

The criminal element for sure. This isnt America. People here accept the regulations. They are not a terrified culture.

I've known hundreds of restricted firearms licence holders and none of them screw around with the single exception of a member of a friends family I use to hunt with who packed a .357 revolver for bear protection while on a bow hunt. As far as I knew he wouldnt pack that around in any other situation but he did take the risk of getting caught and I wouldnt have sympathy for him if he did.

The judge will nail your ass, you will lose your firearms privilege for life and you will get a heavy sentence. If you are that scared of bears... don't bow hunt is my advice.

The First Nations were exempt from the useless registry as well. They were standing along side of us protesting it in the Cariboo but then the Libs said we will exempt this demographic and their protest dissolved. This demographic holds it's fair share of the violent crime stats but once again we see this so called safety take a back seat to politics.

Yes I know, I just wanted to get that off my chest, it wasn’t directed at you but rather just a general statement.

Even the police have come out and said it’s the illegal hand gun market that’s 99.9% of the issue in the criminal element, and the majority of that market comes from the USA.

They have to be the worst band ever. Even Nickleback can’t reach the levels of awfulness that Creed produced.

Might be a conversation worth having... what’s everyone’s most hated band?

Back during the push for registry, over and over they used stats that included increasing handgun violence as why we need a registry. People are poorly informed though. Handguns have been under registry law since the 1930's. Any attempt to use increasing handgun crime as a reason is really making a good argument for how it's not working. Instead, people are mislead into thinking the long gun registry would help protect them from handguns. It is a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.
