It all started when I took my diesel in to get the front u-joints replaced and saw the smokin deals on trucks right now. That’s why I went fishing to see if I could get 20K for my truck, it only had 140,000 kms on it.

Dodge dealership has a 2019 1500 Hemi Laramie for 70K, told me he’d sell it to me on a cash deal for 58K....that’s a smokin deal 🔥

You should be able to knock it down another 5K, tell them you are also shopping dealerships on the coast. It's a total buyers market.

We have a 2013 2601WA Striper, fully loaded it’s around 8000 lbs. After driving a diesel for the past fourteen years with a solid front axle I’m inclined to buy something more comfortable to drive, independent front suspension.

We have a Honda Ridgeline and it’s very comfortable to drive, but only hauls about 5,000lbs. We were back and forth between Ridgeline and Tacoma and opted for Honda because of price. We didn’t drive a Tundra, but I would imagine they are a step up. Tough to find gently used Toyota’s, nobody sells them once they start driving them...

That’s what my wife says, she’s so cheap. Jimmy Pattison must be even more desperate because Toyota has even better deals.

Ive never owned a Toyota but my buddy has a 2018 Tundra, loves it, says they’re hard on fuel with that 5.7 litre engine but I don’t really give a rats ass about fuel economy. I’m interested in ride and towing capacity. If I was concerned about fuel economy I’d buy a hybrid.

How many times a year do you leave the island? I only leave to see my kids or go to Arizona, everything I need is here, (frank) the mainland, support local.

I don't usually care about fuel economy either, it all depends on what it is used for. If it was only for driving around towns then I want fuel economy, but if I need to tow a trailer or boat, like you do, that fuel economy vehicle is pretty useless.
