How many times a year do you leave the island? I only leave to see my kids or go to Arizona, everything I need is here, (frank) the mainland, support local. - LeftCoaster
It's a negotiating tactic
Man you're fuking stupid

Probably 3 times a year? We did get a great deal on our truck, got it in Cranbrook, and our car from Coquitlam. But this was mostly because we couldn’t find what we wanted locally. |

Ive never owned a Toyota but my buddy has a 2018 Tundra, loves it, says they’re hard on fuel with that 5.7 litre engine but I don’t really give a rats ass about fuel economy. I’m interested in ride and towing capacity. If I was concerned about fuel economy I’d buy a hybrid. - LeftCoaster
Go drive a few. I think dealers will deliver a clean, sanitized truck to your door for a test drive - think you can actually drive it around for a day or two. The new trucks are super comfortable and loaded with bells and whistles (what the hell does that even mean?) |

It’s important to get the best deal possible, however, I’m like Jim Benning, when I see something I like I often negotiate down but most times I just buy at an inflated price |

I made a comment to my wife this morning about how good the coffee was, she smiled and said I switched it to Doi Chaang from Thailand....great coffee! Try it. |

You do know he has a guy to do that right?
This guy doesn't hand out 12 year contracts to goalies or NTC / NMC to every contract like Gilman did but he still is a guy. |

Dodge dealership has a 2019 1500 Hemi Laramie for 70K, told me he’d sell it to me on a cash deal for 58K....that’s a smokin deal 🔥 - LeftCoaster
I bought the classic 1500 warlock for 34K. It's great for what I need it for but I doubt it's enough for you. |

I drove the 2020 Tundra yesterday, loved it! I don’t need a platinum model, the model down from that has everything I need. |

Well it's a classic so it's base on the last generation.

Still, 4x4 crew cab with 5.7 hemi . Tow package, technology package. Worth it to me for $34K........and that was in October. I imagine they're just giving poop away now. |

Well when it snows here we routinely get 30+ cm. Also, I just find it handy for landscaping and other chores at home. |

Is that new generation?
That's what I'd wait for with the Tundra. They're nice and they're reliable but they're ancient. |

My buddy laughs at me. Neither one of us are "truck guys" with brand loyalty but most of the guys we work with are and we laugh about it. We just look for suitable vehicles for our needs at a good price. He bought a Sierra.
"I'll smite thee" is what he says. |
