I doubt New Brunswick wants several hundred hockey players from around the world and their staff and management invading them after keeping the virus at bay. Hope that doesn't zoom over your head.

Who was with the baby Sens ? I am drawing a blank.

I think Burrows helped the coaching staff in Ottawa’s AHL team the year he retired, before taking the job in Laval.

I acknowledge teams cup wins for what it was that being an achievement in a totally different era with many different circumstances.

Todays NHL is so far different I won’t get into it. It’s more relevant who has won cups since the league has many more teams than only 6.

Who is the last Canadian team to win a Stanley cup since expansion took hold?

Two more weeks and you could be hosting NHL training camps...

Rumour has it, they are reopening up Alberta's economy, they are bringing workers back at LNG in Kitimat.

Are the European players in their team cities?
If not, 2 weeks after they get back to North America.

A good sign but idk how this can be while governments have not given the go ahead unless deemed essential services. Pipeline work has been ongoing in various areas. The LNG I cannot see as essential but the Oilsands I can.

I take it that flew over your head.
I dont see any construction work, as essential. Let's hurry and bring workers to a small rural community, from coronavirus hotspots, makes zero sense.
Also, tha amount of out of province companies and workers is pathetic.

I never advocated for a resumption of work. Way to early to make that call. I do not like the major influx of workers to go to any community. Construction work is not essential but there is some maintenance that can be considered just that. Imo nothing should restart for at least 2 months that is not truly essential.

Of all the other Canadian teams I think I hate the Habs the least. I mean, you feel sorry for the Sens, but 25 Cups (or whatever), impressive.
- 1970vintage

That is the very reason why I hate them the most.

Being I’m in industrial work placing it’s pretty astounding how many dumb bumholes are around.

One buddy smokes & spits all the time. So at one safety meeting it was said no spitting cuz ppl can walk in & take to it to their vehicle then into their homes. Another worker steps out of the lunch room change area to brush his teeth & not the washroom. Now those are only 2 examples of the stupidity that is out in the world.

Lastly watching ppl handle grocery items & not buy them is very common let alone there is a wife & husband & even their kids all shopping together. Now how dumb is that? Does it take more than 1 person to do a simple errand or what?

Sekeres just did an article about how Fox has a TV deal with 12 American teams that pays for regular season games not the playoffs.

A European soccer team wantd to reopen the season until they found out 8 players had CV19

For the ppl of Kitimat & yourself I’d want no risk of migrating workers to put you at risk for the CCP virus. Simply way too soon to even think about it. Stay safe brother.
