As opposed to Dan Wagner's illustrious career?
All I am saying is I don't need to pay the Athletic or Canucks Army to tell me fans hate Benning , I have Marwood and Lefty who will gladly tell me it for free.

It's bad but not sure it's as bad as the Disney Trilogy one 'The Last Jedi'. That movie was so poorly done it was beyond belief. Force Awakens was 'OK' and Rise Of Skywalker was decent (the best of the three Disney ones by far). Never thought I would prefer the Lucas prequels to the Disney saga but here we are lol.
Phantom Menace could have been so good if they would have made it properly and without the Jar Jar Binks character.
Not sure if you follow the Star Wars timeline but really Lucas and Disney screwed up royally. They both had the chance to do the Thrawn trilogy (which would have been epic done correctly) but chose not to do it. The original trilogy stands up well on it's own...but the prequels and the Disney stuff could have been great.
Rogue One was killer and Solo was OK.
Mandalorian was very well done. Surprisingly so considering what Disney has done to the franchise.

lol it's not for everyone but you should give the original trilogy a chance. Considering the time it was done and the tools Lucas had to work with it's impressive all around. But to each their own...

It actually wasn’t an I hate Benning story. It was a look back (using the videos the team released) at the scouting process. The humor was relating it to Star Wars. The gist is that when Lucas was making the 4th film he was considered a master at his craft (as opposed to when he first started) and so nobody around him said “wait, George, this isn’t making sense, there’s no protagonist in your story”.
It also points out that Podkolzin was the consensus “Scout” selection, not the Benning/Weisbrod selection, but that if rounds 2-7 were indeed Benning/Weisbrod and not scout consensus the early returns look positive, more so than Gunnerson/Palmu- a trade down that Bracket approved.
I’m not trying to change your mind, it’s just something to talk about, and relevant given Carols blog.

I tried watching the very first Star Wars and was bored out of my mind. Just not my thing.

I think I've posted it before, but have you seen the Darth Jar Jar theory? Basically, Jar Jar was the sith lord over Palpatine. Some compelling evidence, with his 'drunken warrior' style fighting, crazy athletic abilities, and CGI things (mouthing words spoken by someone else, appearing to jump across the screen when being shot at, etc.) that were put in on purpose. If you have time, and want to gander:

lol just giving you a hard time man I actually agree for the most part a lot of it is snake oil.
My GF is big into the Essential Oils and while I have tried a few most of them have zero effect. I 'think' a few have worked but it's probably placebo lol - LordHumungous
Yup. My type of arthritis is neither rare nor common and is fairly invisible to the casual observer. After seeing a Rheumatologist for 25 years and a Neurosurgeon for 12 years and then have some f*cktard tell me that I could have avoided decades of chronic pain and moblity and range of motion issues by trying their homemade Kombucha, I want to lunge at them with an ice pick. - Marwood

I think TPM isn't as BAD as people think it is (that said, it's not GOOD either) but I think if you remove Jar Jar as a character, the midiclorians and the whole Anakin as Jesus storyline... you know what, you're right, it's a POS.
