Carol Schram: Canucks NHL Rewinds: Excellent Game 7 watch party & reflections on 2019-20 Sportsnet delivered an innovative and highly entertaining viewing experience on Saturday as Jim Hughson, Chris Higgins, Michael Buble, Kevin Bieksa and Dan Murphy were invited to join the watch party for Game 7 of the 2011 Canucks-Blackhawks series. Also, a look back at how the Canucks have evolved since Game 1 of the 2019-20 season and the franchise's all-time roster.

I’d swap Geoff courtnal for Elias Pettersson myself on that all time Canucks list.

I’m a big Bieksa fan, but that says a lot about the franchise that he’s in the all time top 6.

Not quite as good counting stats but a Stanley Cup. It’s why they over paid for Beagle, surely the cup victory must count for something...

They have until August to decide, they could still pull it off with Sep/Oct playoffs

I’m into it.
Finish the season and push back the start for next year.
Shorter offseason.

Why? If someone dies they can be replaced by some one else.

I wonder if the people who want the season completed and have the playoffs are aware that the league will have to increase TV advertising to compensate for the loss of seat revenue, 5 mins of hockey followed by 3 min of ads, and what kind of ads are we going to see?

Ads are what pay. What ever station, broadcaster or cable provider will have to include ads to cover losses from lack of revenue lost in other areas. I guess I was trying to say things won't be going back to the way they were for a very long time if ever.

Sure. i get that.
With watching games from overseas here, when they go to commercial breaks, they just play a generic nhl gamecentre ad.
Not sure if/why that would change.
