I'm very content not having to worry about any of that. I, also don't mind getting breaking news 30 minutes after all the nerds get it.

You know what's sad? My parents are in their mid 80's and they're more of gadget hogs then I am. They each have a tablet, cellphone, laptop, desktop computer, smart watches, smart home and Alexa.

You need a license to drive and insurance. That’s the thing societies don’t to try and mitigate the damage caused by vehicles. Think back to the horse and buggy days and then the first automobiles. You would have been one of those hicks yelling at government about having to get a license to drive shouting “horses killed all those people last year, should we get rid of horses”

You would have been one of those hicks yelling at government about having to get a license to drive shouting “horses killed all those people last year, should we get rid of horses”

Actually, the first automobiles were slower than horses at a gallop, so horses did in fact have more accidents until there were enough cars on the roads with more powerful horsepower engines that could overtake a horse at full gallop. That wasn't until after the Great Depression and car racing became a thing.

I agree . My grandkids are device freaks. I took them to a field on Sunday to kick a soccer ball and run around. Told them they could not bring phones
