It would also mean goodbye to Montour if that deal happened.

Manson is the best kept secret in the NHL.

If you don’t judge based exclusively on offensive numbers there aren’t many RHD that have a bigger impact then him.

Exact opposite of Risto analytically

- Pegullaville

The catch with the deal would be Manson looking for a hefty raise in 2 years when he would be turning 32.

18,372 active cases out of a population of 29 million.

The only way shutting down an economy makes sense with these figures is if I want to screw my state out of spite.

I just made a simple statement. A question was asked, I answered. I made no judgements, though I do think it's still early yet. There's a poopload of middle-ground between "open everything yesterday, no restrictions" and "shut everything down until there are no cases" but those seem to be the only camps. I've seen pictures of restaurants that if the fire marshall was there they'd get shutdown there were so many people.

Social distancing and quarantines work, they worked in 1918, and they're working now. Philly, which did little to nothing to prepare in 1918 had the highest rate of death in the country. Seattle, which was very aggressive in quarantining had among the lowest. St Louis was also very aggressive. St Louis fared among the best. San Francisco, though about the same overall death rate as Philadelphia, succeeded in flattening the curve. New York instituted staggered work times among other things and only had ~60% of the mortality rate of Philadelphia.

We need to be smart about how we re-open. Do we really need to pile into a restaurant to eat? A bar/club to drink? Do we really need gyms to stay in shape? The answer to those is no, no we do not NEED to do those things. We have become incredibly soft as a country, and if we don't have our creature comforts we freak the (frank) out. What I find the most hilariously ironic is that a lot of the protestors, especially the ones displaying weapons are also preppers and have been boasting about how they can ride out the apocalypse with their buckets of long shelf-life, yet can't go 6 weeks without a haircut, GTFO. The ridiculous fist fights over TP are insane.

You can eat and drink at home with a small group of friends, you don't have to go to a club with 200 other people shouting to be heard with bartenders like Fitz and weak 1oz shots, you can get yoked with just your bodyweight and gravity and a couple kettlebells. You can run/bike in the park or around your neighborhood. If you want to have your barber come to you to cut your hair, or you go to their house, fine, but you don't need to sit around in a small room with 10 other guys/women shooting the poop when we have technology that allows us to communicate without having to be physically present. Is it as good? No, but maybe people will learn a little independence instead of being so goddamn co-dependant. It's not going to be this way forever, suck it up.

We can re-open a lot of things, many will have to be at reduced capacity because, while yeah, mainly old people die, young, fit people still get incredibly sick and have to be in ICU, a fair few with maybe permanent lung damage. Ask Georges Laraque how seriously he takes it, ask Von Miller. Super elite athletes got taken down a peg. In Laraque's case, he had to be hospitalized. Miller wondered if he'd wake up in the morning. Like Laraque(yes, I know he's Canadian) and Miller, More than 25 million Americans have asthma, and if it hit those guys that hard, how well do you think average people with asthma are going to fare? I don't know, I don't know that anyone does, but my guess is probably not as well.

What about a Manson, Henrique for Risto, Mitts, Pekar
- Buff36

Horrible trade. Manson is older and shorter deal than Risto. Henrique is a cap dump let alone trading a still good prospect with potential and a player who looks like a good bottom pair Center

Manson would be a perfect fit with Dahlin, Henrique is a good stop gap at 2C until Cozens takes over and then can go to 3C. And we have a few young Centers coming up that could fill the 4C roll in Asplund or Arttu R.

Pekar is a Center? I thought he was a winger.

Henrique is much more then a cap dump.

The deal Manson is on is the same length as Ristolainen's deal, it's over a million cheaper per, and he's a better player.

All of the above.

Maybe have Manson anchor the 2nd pair to make the top 2 pairs strong.

Henrique has averaged 41 pts over his last six years (points per game) and makes almost 6 million for 4 more years. He’s a cap dump

Maybe, but with the salaries going both ways you would be adding a top Dman and a Center who could work with Skinner for 4 mill.

His ceiling is Tim Connolly, his floor is Luke Adam and the median outcome is Marcus Johansson. I don't pretend to know whether pjujjarjjvvii is better, but I'd trade him in a package for an established NHLer and never look back. He has a seemingly cavalier attitude and his natural offensive skill doesn't make up for the rest of his sub-mediocre results in the d game or physical department. He might need a wakeup call in the form of a trade. Im fine with that

I definitely would have packaged him for Trochek

Just look at all those pinko commies parading around with guns in front of the state house! Red under every bed!

And those bolsheviks that chased down that (black) guy and shot him for jogging. Wow! Can u believe it?

So you've clearly only read the headlines about that, but I wonder why no MSM outlets are covering this? Oh right, doesn't fit the narrative.

Or maybe, if YOU spent three seconds in the real world, you would see that a google search “ Delaware veterans cemetery shooting” shows that the murder your conspiracy rag describes was widely covered with appropriate outrage by the AP, CBS, ABC, and NBC, and the Philadelphia and Baltimore newspapers. Is there other MSM that should report on it? Or should they have identified the suspect any sooner than 36 hours after the manhunt ended? You’d also see that those MSMoutlets didn’t think that the suspect’s familiarity with the wooded area meant he “obviously planned it for a while” as your rag theorized, inasmuch as he ran into those woods “near his home.” And they didnt hyperventilate, as your rag did, that because he wore a mask (and a black hoodie!), that he was a “potential terrorist.” The majority of us are wearing masks now.

If you thought about it, maybe the difference is that the authorities immediately pursued this obvious criminal to the full extent of the law (and probably shot him dead), whereas in Georgia two different prosecuting attorneys chose NOT to take any legal action based on the killing (or even to refer it to a grand jury), and while there are fair questions about whether the dead guy was actually just a jogger, video proves the lie in the cop’s-son-shooter’s story that the dead guy “violently attacked him.”

A) you’re dealing in false equivalents B) appears youre only reading conspiracy rag headlines, and don’t know what “fake news” really is.

Why are YOU complaining about a Narrative?
