I’m not disagreeing. Carol was wondering if there were concerns about “defensive liabilities”, I was just trying to clarify. It wasn’t defensive liabilities, per se, but just that it was his first year as a pro, and they are helping him to understand the position (at this level) better.
Edit - he played in the pre season game in Victoria and I thought he looked good. Benn also looked good (as a #6 guy). - 1970vintage
I seen major flaws in OJs game but not in Rafferty.
Keep in mind he is an attack first Dman but he looked as good as anyone out there. |

I know I knew what you meant and I heard the interview also back then.
I took the interview as we are working on things. Every single guy including Sven Boucher and Goldy were all working on things and have played in the NHL.
I really think Briesbois has the best shot and Rafferty right there also - VANTEL

I’ve travelled the world, so have you being a sailor I’d assume, I’m of the opinion there are multiple great countries on this earth....all have their issues, including ours, the USA is a great country. But not without its current issues. Four years of Trump doesn’t take away from its greatness.
The social media BS has a lot of people baffled, not unlike people who talk to Americans and think they know what it’s like there. Unless you’ve lived there I don’t think you have an informed opinion, despite how many friends or relatives you talk to. Just my opinion.
I’ve spent a lot of time in five countries, Canada, the United States, England, Spain and Oman, all of them are great and all of them have problems. America has so much diversity, it’s such a great place.
Canada’s nice, if you like vanilla |

You are correct I have traveled quite a bit, the world has some phenomenal areas, Europe is stunning, Germany especially, Czechoslovakia, Austria all beautiful scenery and awesome people.
I have also traveled extensively through the US, and I will agree that there are some awesome places and people...but I have also traveled to every province and territory, in Canada. I like going to the states for a vacation, after 3 weeks I can't wait to get back home.
Although I would rate Canada, European and Scandinavian countries well above the US, as the greatest.
You enjoy the desert and I will enjoy the greatest country on this planet (Canada)

You got my vote on all the above.
My US experiences are 1 of either I met great fun ppl or didn’t want to be near any of them. Loved the Pacific coast hwy drive. To many inhibitions & bias etc in the US so I’d take Europe & Japan over them but here is the best of all. The ugly side of America a big negative. |

I am still a bit surprised that, some of you still haven't met, especially when several of you live within a half hour or so, of each other.
If my memory serves me correctly, there is at least 8 of you that live in the Victoria area.
That is enough members to create your own gang.😁 |

You know, or at least you should by now, I like to poke the bear in here on occasion
If I go against the grain of popular opinion it either promotes conversations or it shuts some people down. Usually the timid and weak turn off, they’d most likely play for the Leafs, the strong opinionated minds, who’d play for the 90’s Canucks, get involved and counter attack. Those are good people |
