I know a few producers in BC are giving Zin a go, especially in Similkameen. Do you guys have any rows in Naramata of stuff you’re testing out? - 1970vintage

We’ve got Pinot coming, but they tend to plant more of what we are known for, so lots of Gris, cab Franc, Merlot and Malbec.
The winery is on the Naramata bench, but we’ve got a lot of vineyards in Osoyoos, right on the border. That’s where most of our reds come from.

Quite like the Syrah.
Lariana growing Carmenere down there, I know Moon Curser was growing Tannat and Tempranillo. As a consumer it’s fun to try things like that, but I get that as a producer you have to make money, so Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Merlot... |

Tried a Cedar Creek Meritage last night very good but wow expensive here. $75.
I wonder if their lower end Meritage or Merlot is decent might try a few if I can find them. |

lol been there done that. Some of the box wine will fly at a back yard BBQ for types who don't know the difference but wow it's gotten as bad as Apothic over the years.
Go big or go home bro...lol |
