Canes knew that they couldn't solve Roloson so they had Ladd take him out in game 1 of 2006. Canes knew Roloson was super hot and they would not have won if he played in goal for the full series. Is what it is.

The 24 team PO idea is remarkably stupid. So 8 teams make it in that shouldn't have been and can now make a run...lol
I keep hearing Bettman wants 6 more reg. season games to help solidify draft positions and PO spots. Which makes sense and believe me I am not a Bettman fan...but it would be good to see the season start here. NBA is calling back players soon too I think... |

Some places will be okay. I went to pick up some sushi the other day. The restaurant has usually about 15 tables prior to CV19. When I was there ordering my food they had an assembly line and people walking in and walking out with their food . They had 7 tables fully stocked with orders and a huge table filled with orders. It looked like they had about 100 orders .
I wondered to myself after this lock down why go back to dining in? |

You may as well get use to the fact it is going to happen. It might be Mickey Mouse but you will not please everyone anyways to why bother trying?
When it does return there will be complaining but the deeper it gets the memory of a dumb idea will fade with most people. |

I believe it is the best idea, of all there stupid ideas. It eliminates the 7 worst teams and allows all the bubble teams in.
Not sure how they will rank teams after the round Robin though.
As an example, Bruins go 1 and 4 , Montreal goes 4 and 1, do the Habs advance and Bruins get eliminated from final 16, because they end up with a bad round robin result?
