Thanks for the updates, here’s hoping the league can figure things out safely for the return of hockey.

I can't see much more of a delay to the start of the season. I just drove the wife to a friends , traffic and construction in the roads people walking on the streets and sitting in the park . Businesses are opening. If I didn't no better I would swear it was like any normal Tuesday.

I really dont know how they could fit a 2020 World Cup into this year with the idea of finishing the NHL season and playoffs and starting next season in whats left of 2020.

Quick question: Is there a hotel connected to, or at least very, very close to Rogers Arena?

From everything I've read, that's what makes the NHL so high on using Vegas as a hub city.

As you pointed out in your article, it would make sense to use Vancouver due to the low infection rates. I'm wondering if the NHL would want one hub in the east and one in the west, but I can't really think of why it would actually matter (although my initial reaction is "yeah, you have to have one in EST!).

With no live fans to worry about, you could run these games all hours of the day.
