They had (frank)ing 4 years to find a suitable candidate. 4 (frank)ing years... and this is who they go with? I'm with Joe Rogan here: Biden has dementia and he's rapidly deteriorating.

Tulsi would have been a slam dunk victory for the Dems as the Republican base seems to think she's pretty great. But hey, she doesn't absolutely toe the party line so (frank) her.

I can sorta see the appeal of Biden - let's all be honest, he's not going to do a damn thing that upsets the apple cart in any way.

Buttigieg would have been terrific. I'm thinking the DNC thinks America isn't ready for a gay President at this time. Not sure if I agree with that mentality, as any state that is largely LGBT intolerant is already Dem intolerant. So why not go with him?

Surely he would be a much better bet than Biden.

My 85 year old dad continues to ignore his sons' orders to stay home, despite my mother being severely immuno-compromised.

I will give the stubborn S.O.B. credit for one thing: for years, he refused to move my mom into a home.

Buttigieg is a corporate shill. He was fine in a few white states early in the primaries but had nothing beyond that.

Biden too has worrisome corporate leanings but seems to have accepted that he needs to bring the progressive wing of the party with him to win. Bernie will campaign hard for Biden who will the black vote, women voters and hopefully young progressives. Trump isn’t likely to get far beyond his base.

Still, voter suppression and targeted social media are powerful advantages and it will come down to about 5 or 6 key states. Right now Biden is ahead in all of them. Nobody will repeat Hilary’s mistake of taking things for granted.

Biden can still make the odd boo boo however but I don’t think that will cause people to forget 4 years of Trump.

That’s certainly true. But his whole approach of let’s try to appeal to nice, moderate Republicans was doomed from the start.
