I thought Colin White was the new Patrice Bergeron. That's what his college coach and other hockey people said before the 2015 draft...
My belief is that Lapierre will be taken late in the first round of the draft. A 12 to 20 is also quite possible.

I actually think your right. If I had to guess I would say 20-26/28 but again, wouldn't surprise me if he goes earlier. I have a hard time believing he goes in the top 12/13 or fall to round 2

Agreed. I’d be shocked if he goes in the top 12.

So, would you take him with the Islanders 1st round pick? I would not. Because the draft is so strong all the way through the first round I think he comes to the Sens at 33.

You have to be very careful picking players with past injuries, Jared Cowen is a good example. He was rated in the 3-5 range and compared to Chara but due to his season ending knee operation fell to 9 Where the Sens picked him. Big mistake! He couldn’t skate well after the operation and was a bust.

I'm not a hockey scout, I don't know what his health situation is like, but depending on who is there, I wouldn't be too upset if they took him. I think he will be be gone in the first round, and the 21st pick is the only way to do that, or if Sens move up or down to get another late 1st

So you would not take him at 21, but 12 spots later you'd take him?
