From the badly translated article it sounds like he's "open" to going to the KHL. Also, I recently read that the AHL may not have a season next year, so I could see him looking at all his options. They may have to wait for this season to be completed before knowing what the cap situation will be and before signing players.
He was signed as an undrafted free agent and is still an RFA, so I don't know if we still retain his rights if he does go overseas and then decides to come back.
He did fine in Rochester, but didn't do much in his time here.
