If he had a dog I could see him calling the police because a black man told him he had to put it on a leash.

Yes I have but he's trying be smart by saying "black" that's not cool

And if the police would get rid of the bumholes that break bottles in the sand and leave it for kids or me to walk on I wouldn't have to..

Last time I called about the broken bottles no one showed up and the bumholes did more

This might work. Sabres get Bobrovsky, Barkov For Risto, Hutton, McCabe and Thompson.
Bob becomes number 1 and Ullmark signs 1 year only.

If it means getting a player as good as Barkov, you find a way to make that work. The question is: why is Florida trading Barkov at all, let alone within the division?

May have accidentally flagged you, my bad.

Wasn't there a report earlier this year that the owner wanted to shave celery from the Panther payroll? That would be my only guess why they would trade Barkov.

29M in Jack, Skinner, and Bob would be pretty rough though.

If there is one thing Botterill supposedly can do well, it's manage the cap. He figured out a way to get Phil Kessel onto this team for multiple cup runs while having Crosby, Malkin and Letang on mega deals. Sure, the cap hits weren't as high back then, but neither was the cap itself.

I know he gets a lot of grief for his handling of it this year, but he put himself in a position where he can pretty much move anybody he wants not named Kyle Okposo with a lot of undesirables coming off the books. If that was his plan all along, and outward signs appear that it was, he put himself in the position he wanted to be in. I don't see the rookie overages as anywhere near as big of a deal as most of the fanbase does. This roster always needed to be upgraded via trade and the $1.5-$3 million of bonus money wasn't going to change that. He still has plenty of room to make a trade to improve this roster and can take on salary while doing it. The question is how capable is he as a personnel evaluator. Personally, I do think this is what Kim Pegula meant when she said ownership had information that the fans didn't, or whatever it was she said.

probably, as I said months ago
perhaps they can trade his rights to another team, and he might stay in north america

He was not happy here, due to lack of ice time at the NHL level
it's a shame, talented kid with a lot of potential

hoarding all those RD didn't help the situation

He does not have that much cap room without trades, and that's the crux of the problem, or question: do you believe Botterill can make the right trades that are needed to get the team going in the right direction?

Based on his somewhat haphazard approach so far, and his hoarding of defensemen last offseason to now, I have little faith in him.

Agreed. It'll be interesting to see how the NHL and NHLPA handle player bonuses
