This is especially true in the area of testing - both the lack of emphasis on testing early (yes, by the middle / end of January) and the lack of locations and supplies after. Even ignoring the lies about having enough testing, "anyone who wants one can get one", etc. - we still are not close to having enough testing availability to understand where the disease is, who is affected, where can we safely open up....

What the administration has failed to recognize is that this is an international pandemic (the definition of pandemic, I guess) - and the administration hasn't (still) reacted with a national emphasis. Instead of letting states be responsible for procuring supplies - testing/ PPE / medical equipment - on the open market, competing against each other as well as against other countries - bidding up the price and not allowing for a rational distribution of the supplies - the effort should have been coordinated at the Federal level. How much time and money and other resources have been wasted by letting the localities be on their own to acquire the medical necessities?

I guess the Trump supporters will consider my opinions to be an "agenda" or a "narrative" - and accuse me of listening to the fake-news / enemy of the people "MSM" - fine. I don't expect to convince any of you.

But we cannot let your mis-informative "agenda" and "narrative" be the only voice.

If you can get by the likes of Boston and St. Louis and any other team that has experience or simply starts NOW to train, get fire in their belly and gets the break in the play-in.

We don't know how the play-in will be refereed, but we do know that first game in each series is going to be games that the players will be slower and full of kinks, so can we say game one in each play in a toss up and then it becomes more than a matter of will.
I gotta think the teams that were close last time are going to have more resolve, no matter if we have Kaner, one of the better players, or Oilers have McDavid, because teams with a load of fresh already been there and know what it takes imo, have an edge.

The 'X' factor will be how teams adjust to the layoff. Talent will obviously continue to be important, but if a team can get hot and got on a run anything is possible. Teams like Carolina and Winnipeg could surprise us.
