Damn tree climbing dogs.
- bobbyisno1

Just to put this in perspective.

She takes her dog unleashed for a walk to an area where they are specifically trying to protect the habitat, and is asked to leash her dog.

Instead of complying with the request, she instead calls the police and lies that a black man is threatening her life . . .

And you think you want to take her side of this story?

If you're a dog lover, she was also choking her dog. Just sayin'.

Here’s the guy. He’s a (frank)ing birder

Want to hear something bizarre/funny/oh my God, the conspiracy theorists are going to have a field day over this?

The guy in the video is a former college classmate of George Conway - the guy who trashes Trump on a daily basis, while at the same time being married to Kellyanne Conway.

I’m sorry I have no idea what those statistics mean. What are police homicides? On duty killings? Spouse killings? I really don’t know what these numbers are supposed to tell us.

I get it, one of them should have just walked away, now instead of a mole hill there is a mountain. She was definitely being a female genitalia but why did he also have to aggrivate

He didn't.

She threatened to call the cops - he said "please call them."

Look, I'm a dog owner that has had a dog "illegally" off-lease about a million times.

And if someone asks me to put the dog on the leash, in my best Canadian manners, I apologize and put the dog on the leash, and then imagine that person is dying in a fire.

If i wasn't so Canadian, I'll tell that person to relax, the dog isn't hurting anyone.

Never in a million years would I threaten to call the cops, and make race an issue.

I've only seen the video once, but I saw no evidence of choking the dog. She was wrestling with it - trying to grab its collar - so she could get it on the leash.

The way I read it is that of all the police shooting deaths this year less than 15% were African Americans.

That's maybe where we're not seeing eye-to-eye in the conversation.

I don't know if he was so much aggravating the situation inasmuch as SHE was when she called the cops. She sort of made her own bed when she called the cops and lied about the situation.

I may not give a crap about birdwatching either, but he did and he wanted to protect the habitat - and it was a legal request. My mother-in-law lives with us and she has a Shih Tzu. . . there are people who are legitimately afraid of this thing. Leashing a dog at a person's request should, honestly, always be complied with.

But she asked him to stop filming her, he didn't. Is that not illegal?

Cool.

Now show me those numbers as a percentage of the overall population.

And, you know, when you say “per capita,” there’s many per capitas. It’s, like, per capita relative to what? But you can look at just about any category, and we’re really at the top, meaning positive on a per capita basis, too. They’ve done a great job.

Again, l still get it, I own a bulldog, nobody that doesn't know him would want him of a leash. But he should have just went on with his day

I only watched it once as well. To be honest, it looked more like a harness, but she did return the dog to the Animal Rescue, so based on other outrage I thought there could be something there.

My guess was it was all part of her crisis communications plan.

But I'm already looking to move on to the next outrage.

Unless it turns out the dog was killing a murder hornet nest.

Hi...please show me the viral videos and movements behind any of the over 900 white/hispanic/other?+300ish Black individuals killed by police. Show me the per capita please vs the "movement."

Could it possibly be because there's a higher percentage of innocent black people being shot than white people?

I don't typically get all outraged when police manage to kill a school shooter, but that's just me.

Typically TV will blur out the faces of people not central to the story.

The laws vary across the US, but New York State is what they call a "one person consent" state.

You can't record other people having a conversation without their consent, but if two people are having a conversation, either of them can record it without the other consenting (in a public place).

If you want to argue that she was no longer having a conversation with him, well, I'm not a lawyer, so you can go ahead. But as this has not been raised by now by the lunatic MUH FREEDOMS! crowd, I'm guessing the guy is free and clear on this.

Just after she moved in with us I heard that these dogs' eyes can just pop out. Like, "ploop" and there is. Eyeball just hanging there.

I thought it was a joke, but Google Shih Tzu and 'eyes' will be the first option, and after eyes - popping out is the third top option.

Why? Because it's f'n true! That's RIDICULOUS! Did God outsource the manufacture of these creatures? Like seriously.

No wonder all this * gestures at the world gone mad full of dog eyes popped out everywhere * got done in 6 days.

There's some pretty freaky poop going on with over-bred dogs these days.

Apparently bulldogs can no longer breathe properly, since their snouts have become smaller and smaller and smaller.

23.4% killed by cops in 2019 were African Americans.

13.4% of the American population are African American.

Seems like a problem.

Today's Matchup...

I did not use a picture of Mystique as there were no "fair" pictures. Instead I took a picture from Rollerball.

A or B

- Aetherial

Tough call. Michelle Pfeiffer was such an uber-babe for so long. Nothing beats her in Ladyhawke though. Stunning.

Having said that:

B, because Mystique.

Would have been fun to pair off Rebecca Romijn v Jennifer Lawrence.

I actually don't care either way. First I heard of any of this was today. I think one of them should have just kept walking. That's what I would have done in the great outdoors.
