Panarin should easily be in the top 3. Dude had Strome and Fast as his linemates.
His point totals are insane considering both of those players are probably 3rd liners. - mdw7413
I mean, it's just ridiculous, 95 points in 69 games, only 24 points on the powerplay, while Draisatl had 44 points on the PP |

Yea not saying I want him, but you would have to assume he is part of it if they really want eichel. I would probably do it tbh. - nyrangers2
if I were running Buffalo, and I was going to trade Jack Eichel, it would have to be a trade that ultimately solves my problems
I'd insist on a goalie and probably would hold out for Shesterkin |

Yeah, im not going to knock Draisaitl, he had an amazing year too, but Panarin was playing with lesser linemates.

I would think Kakko, Georgi, a young D ( not Miller or Lundqvist ) and our 1st rounders this year would get it done, no?
This assumes 2 compliance buyouts so Hank and Staal are gone. Otherwise it destroys our cap, so the deal wouldn't work. |

speaking of Kakko, you guys who want to talk Jack Eichel better realize that no package is realistic for him without including Kakko. - jimbo83
I just remember back when Stamkos struggled a bit early and the Rangers had that handshake deal to trade for him. Would hate for the Rangers to give up on a talent like Kakko to soon because of a slow start to his career |

I am of the belief that the Rangers shouldn't be making a trade like this, let all these young guys develop, future is very bright |

Also the Rangers are in cap hell next year, how the hell would they fit Eichel's 10 million salary on the books. Don't think the money would work anyway |

He will probably be the only guy that shows up in shape besides Panarin.

Some NYR news: JD said on a Zoom call today that they'll listen to the medical staff to determine if it's safe for Kaapo Kakko to play. He has Type 1 diabetes. I'm told that doesn't put him at risk for infection, it puts him at a higher risk for complications if he is infected. |

all of it put off until after the Cup is awarded, there was a deadline to sign all your own draft picks by June 1st (from 2017) or they become free agents and that deadline has been pushed to July 1st |

Ah ok.
They should start free agency a minute after the cup is awarded. Make this whole summer interesting |

I think this tournament is going to take up all of August/September and then I see next season starting, with fans on January 1st.
Jimbo prediction. |
